Judge Ural Granville threatened to place Young Thug’s attorney, Brian Steel, in custody for contempt of court after the two argued about a private meeting and email. A courtroom deputy approached Steel multiple times with handcuffs but backed off when the state began arguing its points on the matter. Steel was taken into custody after leaving the courtroom. He then asked the judge if he could serve his time with Young Thug in the rapper’s jail cell so they could work on the case. Young Thug is currently on trial for multiple RICO charges.

  1. You can't be sloppy and credible at the same time…we rely on the process to be impeccable in order to be trusted, no matter what pre concived notions are about the defendants…find a way to do it right or remove yourself from the process 😢

  2. Judge needs to be disbared.
100% he is taking advantage of his position to try and save himself.

  3. You wonder how they got away with it with Trump. Now that Trump has dealt with the corruption of the court system in the court ignoring people's constitutional rights maybe he will do something about it. This is a judge violating this man's constitutional rights and then throwing the defense in jail because they won't tell how they found out their clients rights were violated. Then the judge is his own judge and says nope not a mistrial I did nothing illegal declares himself innocent and moves on… People really need to question their freedom knowing that judges act like this and there's no one to stop them

  4. This is the direction our country is heading, corrupt judges jailing anyone who calls them out on they’re dirty dealings.

  5. The judge is clearly at fault it's so obvious and he's trying to use his place of authority to mingle out of it

  6. Just the appearance of impropriety places, the judiciary under disrepute. This is a true showing of exactly what the judiciary has become in fact. a judge is arguing for his life to engage in illegal conduct from the bench a crime. And a judge committing crimes from the bench is still illegal. He is not immune. That bears repeating judicial immunity does not apply for crimes.

  7. Another above the law person in authority. The attorney is telling it like it is. Who told him is of no importance. What a POS. How many times do you want to ask who gave him the information? He should be disbarred.

  8. Has anyone filed an official complaint with the commission on judicial performance against this judge? That needs to be done immediately. This judge thinks he is a king.

  9. This is the unprofessional way that judges in corrupt Fulton County operate. They need to be disciplined now. This is getting ridiculous.

  10. Atlanta lega system is looking bad, from this judge, to fanni to woody making a mockery of the court.

  11. Folks….we now have a kangaroo court, these judges have lost it, operating on their own accord and feelings. They all need to be jailed.

  12. The defense lawyer is correct a jusge is not permitted to have discussions with a witness without defense counsel present

  13. See even our judges are on the take prosecutor know what he was doing he was supposed to be in the room with the judge if you're talking anything about their client does the judge and he's over the rule of law of everybody and he's doing a legal activity

  14. It’s ex parte why was the government involved? Why was only one party involved? That’s the key issue here at the judge says well know this had nothing to do with the trial then why was the attorney for the government involved?

  15. This is a classic example. The most important thing in America is to protect the government. The judge did wrong so someone who figured it out has to go to jail and that’s exactly why America’s resting Julian Assange because America did wrong and he revealed it. We don’t care about the wrong we cared that it’s never revealed.

  16. This is surreal. Lock up the judge, not the lawyer. I am sure this is going to cost the state a lot of money 🙂

  17. I feel like if they are asking for a mis-trial due to something the judge is doing wrong, that same judge should not be the person who gets to say he accepts or denies! To me, that's like asking the accused person of the crimes to decide if he goes to prison or not, lol.

  18. DEI doesn't work, minority people at higher power is wrong because they don't have the experience yet, this judge should be disbarred for his actions

  19. How is this even allowed – judges are also just abusing power and becoming activists
