  1. Sheesh, certain mistrial or successful appeal. Ask the 20 people in the room with you who talked? There are other sources so there's no need to punish the lawyer. Bring the DA, sherrifs, etc… 1 by 1 up swear them in, throw each of them in jail too while you are at it? The judge is clearly mad he got caught right in the middle of helping the prosecution, or at least thats what it looks like. He wasn't even going to disclose there was a meeting. You allow for people to fill in the blank when you leave a blank. This is a mistrial purely on the appearance of this meeting.

  2. As a career trial prosecutor this is insane. There is no way around this. Nice try with the “possible threats.” He’s testifying as a co-operating witness in a gang case. Of course he’s gonna deny, obfuscate, and lie to safe himself. It’s expected. He was given immunity by the DA’s office so either he testifies “truthfully” or he doesn’t get the benefit. What the Judge and the DDA’s prosecuting this case did is unethical and outrageous to have an ex-party hearing with a sworn witness in the middle of trial. The fact the defense learned this third hand is unethical and where I practice unheard of. It’s an embarrassment to ethical prosecutors and judges throughout the country. There is no excuse for this, period.

  3. This is a preview of the fanni willis case…except it'll be fanni arrested and led out of court for having the audacity to charge a white/orange man…

  4. They better be careful on what they talk about why they in the cell attorney client privilege may not be protected 😮😮😮

  5. The story gets worse. The judge has denied motions for an independent judge to rule on recusal for bias, AND has given the lawers an order to show cause (to find out who leaked). Steel's prison time was immediately stayed by the spreme court. The judge wouldn't let the witness fire their lawyer. And it turns out the witness literally said they would lie on the stand, and implied they were the murderer. The judge is going down in flames and doubling down.

  6. The lawyer was asking to be held in contempt and the Judge did his job. No way the lawyer is a "hero". The question is valid, how did the lawyer find out about the meeting?

  7. Seems to me the ones involved in racketeering are judge Granville, DA Willis and the rest of the involved DA's.

  8. Update: defense attorney has made bond. Not going to serve any time in jail. An appeal was issued by attorney Ashleigh Merchant.

  9. I truly do believe if that lawyer was black this wouldnt have been a problem…I see all white people defending that lawyer..not once have any of you defended a black man so i think youre racist

  10. This is the same lazy, ill-prepared judge that dealt with motions in limine by saying "we'll deal with it when it comes up" then gets angry about time wasting when it comes up and the attorneys try to do as he told them to do.

  11. How do we sort this out? This is not the first RICO case. It does seem like the legal profession has yet to find a way to be consistent. I often find myself wondering if it is because there are still many lawyers in authority and decision making positions who never learned to type. No joke…..I know too many here in Massachusetts….this means they live some sort of old school phone network for process and information and do not know how to manage forms and procedures. Last I checked Boston Criminal court has three dockets for the same case, same hearing, same day any each and every time the do not have the same information it is “clerical error.” The judges have to retire, the clerks of court are lifetime appointments. Please start covering this in all the court systems.

  12. I don't know if the judge was right or wrong, but I do know either way he's still the judge and he has a lot of power. I think if I were the defense attorney and I thought he had done something wrong I would have just marked it and if I lost the case used it to appeal the decision but then maybe that's what he was trying to do or did.

  13. Oh pls Mr I live in Florida and I want to play both sides of the fence give me a fn break . The law is about fact finding not about fn fun. You never spoke wrong about the Adelsons until Charlie was arrested and found guilty and Donna was arrested. Give me a fn break and the Medias Brothers trust you to be a fair arbitration on anything when you're afraid to be a straight forward so called pro-democracy guy. Give me a fn break

  14. I noticed your Panthers badge behind you. Being from Toronto (sigh), I must root for the Oilers. Yes, I know they're down by two.

  15. Thanks because I was trying to see what’s really going on! I can honestly scream free Thugger now!

  16. Is this a promotional stunt?… I'm not gonna go listen to his music because of this but I'm sure some will😊😊😊

  17. Steel is appealing and I hope we get to see that also. Calling in the Strike Team, was pretty awesome because the judge did not have the law right and was basically going to send Steel to jail until he complied. Watching the Strike Team school the judge on Contempt law sure was interesting.

  18. The D.A. is the problem 😕 this whole time they handle her😂during Trump thing she has a problem with them dudes but why is she even doing this wasn't she fooling around with one of them boys

  19. This story was half baked, Ashliegh Merchant, the same attorney who grilled Big Fanni Willis and put her foot in the Judge’s Arse did not even get a mention.

  20. Wow…😮👀 I can't believe the lawyer did this and the fact that he knew… There's nothing but fish heads strewn about.

  21. I think you should stick to Palm Beach. The defendant was not granted immunity to federal crimes, thus he was within his right to take the 5th.

  22. I know that some nefarious stuff
could be going behind the Scenes,
but i have to give it to the Defense
    Attorney there. 😊

  23. I never seen a corrupt judge like this in my life this is prejudice and I think the judge is smashing Mr love😮

  24. You people do NOT know the law. The judge broke the law in NOT telling the defense about the ex part. It wasn't about funds for an expert witness…..he should be removed as a judge! #Trump2024

  25. Why didn't you mention the reason the defense lawyer mentioned why he thinks he will violate bar rules if he discloses his source? This was the worst one-sided report about the event so far.

  26. He will have to say what was said in the ex parte hearing when he becomes the witness at Steele's hearing on the contempt charges!

  27. The witness was sworn and the Judge and prosecutor had an obligation to notify the defense of the exparte hearing and provide the transcript. So the judge and prosecutor are wrong here.

  28. If there is an immunity deal the 5th doesn't apply, so refusal to testify is contemptuous

  29. THANKS DAVE GIVING US THE BACKGROUND INTO THIS MOMENT
IM SUPPORTING THE JUDGE BUT I THINK HE SHOULD BE MADE TO SPEND EVERY DAY FOR 10 WEEKS IN THE CELLS
WHEN HIS CLIENT WANT TO SEE HIM HE KNOWS WERE TO FIND HIM ALONG WITH OTHER CLIENTS HE MAYBE REPRESENTING
THE JUDGE NEEDS TO KNOW WHO TIPPED HIM OFF AS THE TRUST OF THE COURT HAS BEEN BROKEN

  30. Fani brought charges before she had facts! YThug case is a freaking joke!! Shame on FANNY!!
These thugs will get away with murder because indictment was false!!

  31. I have not watched the trial. Saw this, caught up a little. Completely in-biased, maybe uninformed opinion;
That lawyer screwed up. Looked to me like he had been in a thugs world so long he forgot how to behave.
He was lying, he was wrong and it looked sleazy to me. Woodys lawyer was a disgrace and that stoopid woody kid played everyone and made himself look ridiculous. He could barely speak English. (Intentionally). It was shameful. I was on the judges side.
Those guys all looked shady and sleazy!

  32. Rico trials are circuses! Chump same thing! Threats and trying to constantly derail, to get it dis!issed!

  33. Two sets of rules in America, these judges are a worry felon got 34 guilty 10x gag order still no jail, dont think Merchan will jail him either

  34. His life is in danger, that's why the lawyer is so concerned about staying close to his client. He's not a hero. He's a victim.
