Why did the homeowner leave the safety of his home? I’m not suggesting that he wasn’t justified in defending himself, but had he stayed inside his house he could have avoided going to jail for 18 months and paying out loads of money on attorney fees. If he had something outside to protect, such as farm equipment and/or livestock, then that might have been something for the police/DA to consider before deciding an arrest.
Imagine defending yourself and being charged with murder and looking at life in prison. This was the same thing that happened to George Zimmerman.
I don’t care if it was self defence. He still killed them, which is wrong!! IMO, self defence is not an excuse for murder. Could have easily just scared them away or something. Even so, they should have accepted their sentence for killing someone. If u disagree, please reason with me. I want to understand while people view self defence as perfectly reasonable!

Why is it that you end up in jail for still defense though? Why would the police arrest someone on a triple homicide charge in his own back yard. It's obviously self defense?

If the defendant is found innocent fairly the (NAZI) prosecutor should go to prison (for the same length penalty) for violating the rights of the defendant and so should the arresting (NAZI) police officers too.

Having not heard the trial, I imagine the criminals were out to do him harm but at the same time, it's kinda hard to imagine shooting all three dead? If one of them got shot, the natural response for rest would be to flee. Either, all of them froze or all three decided to over power this guy even armed with a hand gun. Either way, the police had sufficient reason to believe there was an intent to kill and not scare or maim.
What if you walkimg a away and then when you turn around four people are charge In at you and you charge back is that self defense or is that you starting the fight.

random jury is a cool idea but if u brainwash / convince enough ppl to think a certain way it doesn't work like it is meant to. I THANK THOSE FELLOW CITIZENS for setting aside differences and putting yourself in thier shoes, CHEERS FROM CANADA!!! ( this hardly ever wins in canadian courts.)
