DISCLAIMER (Of course, I’d have one 😁)
Hey, you might think that this info makes me your lawyer, but it doesn’t and I’m not. Sorry, but I AM NOT YOUR LAWYER unless we have an engagement agreement. I am just providing public information here, like a library does, and am not providing you with legal advice about your situation. So, it would be totally unreasonable for you to conclude we have an attorney-client relationship just because you’re viewing this information.

  1. I hate those movies/TV shows where someone's mad at a lawyer and says stupid shit like "how could you let a guilty man walk the streets". Like that's the fucking point of justice

  2. If you're client is on the innocent side and you can't prove it. Its technically a skill issue that you have to cope with 💀

  3. So if the client tells you where the bodies are and let’s say it’s true, there are bodies there. You are just supposed to keep quiet? This is where the difference between following the law and morals get iffy imo. I feel like the location of dead bodies is a pretty important thing.

  4. if done right both sides keep each other honest. i use freddy kruger from nightmare on elm street. for the judge didnt do his job and signed a warrant wrong and he was let go and all evidence thrown out for it was gotten illegally

  5. I once took classes from a lawyer in an elective at university. He said the same sort of thing: that the defense's job is to ensure a fair trial. They'll also negotiate any punishment so people don't have to serve max sentences every time

  6. Probably do a plea agreement and not put as much effort into trying to fight for your case. Not really answering many of your calls or really trying to hear what you have to say.

  7. Are lawyers allowed to lie, like if they know if someone is at a location, but there is no evidence so they don't say anything?

  8. Once I realized lawyers are intended to make the government prove your guilt beyond a reasonable doubt, that whole morally questionable stereotype, seemed to be just a teensy bit silly so long as the lawyer still plays by the law.

  9. He’s right about that in CSI, there was a lawyer that knew his client was guilty, but he put evidence that didn’t belong and they arrested somebody else he was fired and sent to prison

  10. But I can’t help but feel a bit nauseous when a petofile or cold blooded killer has a lawyer willing to stand up for them in court. This is why a lot of people see lawyers as “slime balls” or just immoral people with no soul..
