In 2019, Hannah Payne witnessed a hit-and-run accident. She called 911 to report the crash — but instead of following instructions from dispatchers — she allegedly followed one of the drivers involved in the crash, Kenneth Herring, and demanded he return to the scene. Payne then allegedly fatally shot the man as he sat in the driver’s seat of his car. The 25-year-old is charged with malice murder, two counts of felony murder, aggravated assault, false imprisonment, and three counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

  1. He can't "pull the trigger" he would have had to push it since he is facing the gun. And who would pull the trigger on a gun pointed at themselves.

  2. She actually believes she’s has the right to murder with no consequences. No remorse at all. Hopefully life without parole.

  3. Any person who commits a hit and run is guilty of a felony offensive.

The only real question here is, was the victim of the hit and run injured.

If yes then Hannah is justified no matter how justice was served.

What’s a 62 year old doing hitting and running for anyway?

Justice was served in 2019. He won’t be hitting and running any more.

  4. Her interview. Not one bit of regret of taking a life. Just acting as if she is judge jury and executioner. She will now have a loooong time to think about her actions. Life just totallly changed.

  5. Why would she feel the need to get so close to him? If someone ran up to my car yelling and screaming I would be terrified. Her anger was out of control.

  6. Its a darn shame you wasted your life trying to be a big police woman, should have turned around like you were told to and that man would still be alive today and you would not be spending your life in prison 😮😮

  7. All the witnesses were a joke. I never seen a case with such little evidence and barely any experts just unreliable witnesses with 10 different stories. Crazy. I would never want to be in the hands of these unintelligent jurors.

  8. Can't believe her attorney is trying to portray her as a victim. She chased him down, blocked his car, approached his window, yelled at him to get out of the truck and he died due to her actions. Doesn't matter who pulled the trigger. She was the aggressor and he was trying to defend himself from a crazy woman.

  9. this is that generation. they live in a social media fantasy world where there are no consequences
    Welcome to reality…

  10. It’s been four years not fifteen . He doesn’t remember she was sitting in patrol car and maybe asked what happened and she voluntarily went on and on. Makes him looks foolish that didn’t recall that at all.

  11. Sorry, but I’m not quite sure why the prosecution thought the rebuttal witness was a good idea, or even relevant! He couldn’t even remember a lot of what happened in the case/interview and therefore clearly didn’t take the time to refresh himself on the details of the case! The answers he did give, at least most of them, I wouldn’t think the prosecution would be that thrilled with the answers! I do know that attorneys need to bring witnesses in to have evidence introduced into the trial, but the prosecutor had the female detective in the defendant’s interview already on the stand days ago, so I would have thought she would be able to introduce the tape of the interview based on having that detective on the stand since she was the other detective with the detective on the stand. Either way, I don’t think his testimony was all that helpful, at least not for the prosecution and furthermore, the prosecutor had no follow up questions for the rebuttal witness and I absolutely understand why! 🙄
He needs to fly back to where he came from….him and his little 🐝 broach on his lapel….WTH?!? 🤦🏾‍♀️
    😂😂😂😂

  12. Omg she was all over the place….cuz how you remember doing all that…she should've just played crazy…lol….cuz how hendoing all thisnat the same time Lord!!

  13. The way I see this, You have these property managers of apartment complexes, Companies who hire these young girls fresh out of high school and they should NOT!. They get this ego power trip that they are the boss, boss of the people who live on properties, the residents etc..They get a mindset that people will do as they say, or get kicked out or lose their job! In this case her ego followed her to the mass public. She was wrong on all levels. If not for this case she was bound to get hurt in life with her I'm superior mindset. Her I'm innocent and only tried to help attitude does not fool me one bit. She put herself in this situation and the only one who brought a gun to a should not have happened confrontation.

  14. She feels absolutely justified in what she did…. I’m glad her verdict showed otherwise….if she wanted to help and be a Good Samaritan (because nothing is wrong with that) all she needed to do was get the lic plate to be helpful, nothing further was needed… by no means did she have a right to make contact with him in any shape or form or say anything to him….and she was lying about the altercation thank god for the 911 recordings and the interview to contradict what she recollects happened 4 years later

  15. I mean she should have just got his number plate and gone back to the scene, you have no right to take the law into your own hands.
