i think if there is one thing ive been taught by Lawyer Lee (and this defendant, and the one before, and before…) : dont kill people. it doesnt work. 😅
The moving was real because her mom was a witness and she said that she had inherited the house that she was born in Maryland

GUILTY….THE JUDGE KNEW IT…PUBLIC KNEW IT. SHE WONT SURVIVE PRISON
Only a narcissistic person would deprive her newborn baby of a father. What did she accomplish with these machinations ending in the killing of her husband? A small child having to grow up without parents, putting a heavy burden of bringing up the child on her own aging mother and and depriving Eva of her father in the most horrendous manner. She stamped her own child with an awful heritage for life.
She doesn’t “have” to cry but don’t pretend that you are. That’s what bothered me. She got away from Doug long enough to reach a loaded gun. That tells me that she had time to run out the garage to a neighbor. She did not have to shoot him …imo.
I guess I don't understand Stand Your Ground laws.🤔
2:12:14 I have a hard time believing that all 6 jury members didn't see a thing about her trial. It was everywhere and I live in Europe! Originally when I heard about the case i thought "Oh a pretty gold digger who murdered him for insurance." And then I realised um no, there are too many complicated issues here that make me doubtful of her guilt.
1. Should be real tears
Doug’s cousin said on court tv after verdict that Ashley knew who Doug was before “meeting”.
You should not use tears as proof of guilt. Use facts or evidence.
You do simplify all the details in such an intelligent way. So appreciated – am a fan!
?? Can you explain how a jury can send a person to prison based only on their memory? The jury is asking for HELP. When they can’t receive help, it seems like an injustice to the defendant.
26:22 But legally did she have to? Do you legally have to put his name on the birth certificate? In my country if you are married automatically the father's name goes on and it's the man you are married to. So if you are separated and find a new boyfriend and it takes 2 years for the divorce to go through and you get pregnant guess who's the daddy. The man you are married to. Lol if you aren't married you gotta go to court, DNA testing you gotta prove you are the dad or you gotta adpot. It's a long process.
I find it odd that they were unable to make a decision but 45 mins later compromised.
The prosecution confused the jury, mocked the experts as if they were experts in healing crystals.
I don't think the prosecution proved anything but maybe the defence should have kept her off the stand. I didn't like how the prosecution mocked Ashley but made it seem inconsequential that he did one time wave a gun at her. He was 30 years her senior! He had just buried his first wife but they married immediately after meeting! How bizarre?! His first wife sent a text detailing some disturbing things. Ok maybe that doesn't mean she should shoot to kill but it does paint a man who was capable or abuse, was controlling and was obsessed with Ashley.
Even the experts seemed very clear that Doug was not healthy and dominated Ashley and she was afriad.
1 – the fake crying only bothered me because of the sobbing.
In my opinion I think if the jury had the answer to their question about Dr Quintell it may have been guilty for murder – that would have confirmed all information about Doug came from Ashley and that this could have been premeditated

The biggest tragedy out of all of this is that poor little girl. She will forever suffer the effects of her mothers choices. Ashley is guilty of this crime, Ashely is also guilty of being so damn selfish. This poor child will have to navigate her whole life through knowing what happened. Hopefully, they seek therapy for her. She will think this is her fault, because this whole thing was about Ashley keeping "pocession" of her daughter. Such a tragedy.
