Have you ever thought of using a false certificate with the aim of having someone else use it to gain employment or to arouse sympathy? My advice to you is to avoid such behavior because, according to Article 397, any person who:
a. falsely creates or forges a certificate stating that they have never been involved in a criminal offense, or that they have certain skills, financial incapacity, disabilities, or other conditions, with the intent of using it themselves or having someone else use it to gain employment or to arouse sympathy and help; or
b. uses a false or fraudulent certificate as referred to in point a, as if the certificate is genuine or not fraudulent.
shall be punished with imprisonment for a maximum of 1 (one) year and 6 (six) months or a fine of up to category III, IDR50.0O0.O00,0O (fifty million rupiahs).
