In Dolton, Illinois, Mayor Tiffany Henyard stirred controversy by bringing two criminal defense attorneys to a chaotic Village Board meeting. Despite not being charged with any crime, Henyard’s move raised eyebrows, especially since the Village is not paying for their services. The meeting saw the firing of eight village employees, including the Deputy Police Chief, only for them to return the next day, claiming their dismissals were illegal. Amidst the turmoil, the board voted to cap credit card spending due to concerns about financial mismanagement, which has left the Village millions in debt. Mayor Lori Lightfoot is expected to release a bombshell report on these developments, which could further expose the depth of corruption and mismanagement in Dolton. The unfolding drama is a glaring example of dysfunctional local governance, with significant implications for Dolton’s future.

  1. Vacant property parking for simi trucks.
    Fee safe. Secure lots.
Few machines and or food trucks. Make lots of. Repete lots of money to help the local people and help trucks close to city and safe on roads and help D.O.T laws rules all a win win

  2. Very common this happens all over the same story the same people over and over again it’s just not reported

  3. They tried to recall her shortly after she was elected. Something with how they had to change a law to recall her was ruled by a judge not to be legal. I don’t understand why the AG did not investigate her a long time ago.

  4. “I’m paying for these criminal defense attorneys myself!” Yes…but with whose money?

  5. The county of San Diego has decided they will use 11.1 million of our tax funds to build homeless cabins right in our cities!

  6. A criminal attorney has zero standing in a municipal board meeting they know criminal law, what did they have their law books right there in the meeting and say wait let me look this up to make sure it’s legal!

  7. They already have her bail money in a trust account and the citizens are paying for it yet again! This woman is Evil! She can’t even hire her own attorneys!

  8. Per Illinois Adminstrative law the Trustees of Dolton can put any employee on paid administrative leave pending further investigation. The Dolton Police Chief was indicted also.

You are incorrect, spending on gift cards can be tracked.

  9. I love how the trustees were like "We didn't know who they were" even when they're in closed sessions. I don't know- why don't you demand them to identify themselves. And they're "worried that the village is going to pay for it". Just impotence, stupidity and incompetence all over that board. She already has a bunch of the tax payers money all under their watch. What a clown show.

  10. Another repeat! You alter your introduction just enough to make it appear like it's new. Everyone I've reviewed on Utube does the same thing. BS!

  11. It’s the residents fault. They had to know.. She wasn’t qualified or knowledgeable enough for the position.
