In a hearing in front of the US Supreme Court on whether Donald Trump can be removed from Colorado ballots, his attorney called the events of the January 6 attack on the US Capitol “criminal,” while the former president has called convicted rioters “hostages” and vowed to issue mass pardons.

You have to ask yourself one question, and answer honestly. Pretend like they had been able to scare Mike Pence away, and that the fake electors had made it in. Imagine that they had then come up with something to certify that Trump had one. Do you think, even fore one second, that Trump would have stepped in and said: "Wait, guys, this isn't right, we gotta make sure that we do this right." No chance. Trump has always been a coward and a lying sneak. Trump was attempting a coup, but was too much of a spineless loser to just stand up and be clear about his intent. He did as he always does: he makes other people stick their necks out for him, and then he abandons them when they get into trouble. The fact that he's been crowing about the election being "stolen" for the past three plus years has to be enough proof to make it clear in anyone's mind.
