DISCLAIMER (Of course, I’d have one ๐Ÿ˜)
Hey, you might think that this info makes me your lawyer, but it doesnโ€™t and Iโ€™m not. Sorry, but I AM NOT YOUR LAWYER unless we have an engagement agreement. I am just providing public information here, like a library does, and am not providing you with legal advice about your situation. So, it would be totally unreasonable for you to conclude we have an attorney-client relationship just because you’re viewing this information.

  1. Also a good lawyer doesn't make cringe as fuck short videos like this. Just saying……………Get off YouTube and act more professional. No one will hire you after they watch your cringe bullshit videos

  2. we all know the top lawyers are the women wearing a blindfold, a sword in one hand, and a scale in the other

  3. but some lawyers will often give a free 30 minutes to an hour if it's your first time meeting so try and get every bit of information you can

  4. I had the opposite of 3. happen to me. All I was told about fees was there being a contingency fee, but when I looked at the retainer agreement I noticed some surprises. There were 5 or 6 clauses with ambiguous language (and no guardrails against possible abuse) stating that the attorneys could take me for everything I had if I wasn't a perfect client. And of course, because of how the language was written, they could interpret or claim that I did not hold my end even if I think I did, and still get taken for everything. Hell no.

  5. My older sister helped me find a lawyer for my for social security disability claim. The first lawyer we talked to did all of these things. We knew he was our guy. The hearing went smoothly, and I won my case easily. He told me we only had a 50/50 chance of winning. That's the only thing he said that I'm not so sure I believe.

  6. Iโ€™m taking my lawyer classes , 1 more month and I graduate. Goodbye Harvard , Never was good to meet you.๐Ÿ˜‚

  7. One time I paid a lawyer $5k to represent me in a case I was falsely accused of. They made me sit in jail for 6 months kept moving my court date then told me the best deal they could get for me was 4 years in prison plus 15 years supervised release. Told me if I did not take the deal and went to trial that I would spend over 30 years in prison for something I did not do and there was no proof I did.
I fired that lawer for a lawyer who promised to get me off for $1800. He said they had zero evidence and my alibis and some security video proved it was not me. He was extremely confident and made a firm promise to have my case thrown out the first court date.
I was escorted into the court room from the jail did not see my new lawyer anywhere so when they called my name they told me to sit back down that I had no lawyer present and that they would recall my case at the end of the docket.
When everyone was done in court they called my name again and was telling me they would have to reset a new date and suddenly my new lawyer bust through the door and before even being on the floor said he wanted to file a motion to dismiss which the judge instantly said motion granted.
The DA and a police officer tried talking the judge out of it but now 10 years later no issues from that case and I learned that sometimes when you know you are in the right you should find a lawyer who says they will get you off guaranteed.

  8. If a "victim" admits to inviting the so called aggresor to her home despite she stating that the guy tried to take advantage of her and she had to kick him out on the first incident on a police tape. And then refused to go and take any tests to prove the so called aggressive behavior and insertion. Couldnt that be used against the prosecution as the "victim" is clearly not cooperating with the procedure and also they just admited to willingly invite the defendant in as well as being completely in their right mind during the incidents?
