There’s an old saying that, “a man who is his own lawyer has a fool for a client.” The trial of Franklin Tucker in Florida is the perfect example of that.

There is absolutely no reason that Mr. Tucker should have been representing himself. He already had two lawyers and then decided to forgo their advice and represent himself.

The most frustrating part about his case was that after everything he went through, it ended in a mistrial, not a not guilty verdict. While that might seem like a victory to him, the State can always bring the case back and retry him.

I 100% believe that with a competent lawyer, this case should have ended in a not guilty verdict, ending Mr. Tucker’s legal troubles.

When people call and ask me whether they should get a lawyer on a criminal case, I tell them that they ALWAYS should. Regardless of who you hire, any lawyer is always better than no lawyer.

  1. It's so frustrating because the judges do not obey the rule of law is a violate the law on a regular basis especially when it comes to straw man and Sovereign living people
