Why cops aren't educated and just walk away instead off costing tax payers millions in lawsuits I just don't understand. Bottom line they need to know the constitution. The oath they sware to uphold. Why is this soooooooooooo hard to wrap their minds around? Ego costing us millions even billions off tax payers money! They don't care because it's our money not their own. Sad.

This cop just flushed thousands of TAX payer dollars down the toilet. He should have to pay that money back.
People have a go at these guys making a living (a good one!) from filing lawsuits against the cities these bluearse idiots work for.
But what you have to think about, and understand, is that they wouldn't be able to make a living from being awarded coin from the state of your bluearse actually knew and followed the law! Which is kinda what they really want deep down.
Make payouts come from police pension pots and this kind of misconduct will stop overnight

This isn't the main story, the captain looked into the complaint and not only did he say the trooper was within the law detaining him till he was identified he blamed Sean. I swear you can't make this up

Unfortunately until they stop using qualified immunity protections and have to actually pay even $10 dollars for a lawsuit against them for violating constitutional rights and Laws against innocent until Proven guilty and have to take a constitutional amendment class for at minimum to learn 1-5 amendments and what they are. Not a damn thing will ever change
