13. Since when did it become legal for a person to claim property that they have never paid for? Does that mean I can go into a government building, sit there, and cry when they try to escort me out? Also, when they try to escort me away, does that mean I can have government officials arrested for attempting to remove me from “my residence”? Technically, I’ve been in the building for long enough, so now all the classified information, thousands if not hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of materials, and the building are now my property according to squatters rights. If they arrest me and bring me in, do I not have a case and a right to the property I claim as my own? Can the government overturn that decision just because it is a slight on their property? I guess most government property is public property, but what if I go into a base of clearly only certain personnel are allowed on? Let’s say, Area 51; I sneak in somehow, sit my happy ass in a hanger, and claim it as my property when they come to arrest or shoot me, do they have the legal right to remove from their private property? If so, that seems kind of hypocritical that a random ass person can take my property as their own without any sort of purchase, but I can’t take the governments property as my own without any sort of purchase? If anyone if well versed in squatters rights and the laws that allow this bs to occur, please help me to understand this shit.

18. They don't actually have rights to the property. They produce a fake lease claiming they have rights as a tenant, the owner says no you don't, but as far as the police is concerned it's a he-said-she-said. So you go to the court to figure it out, but that process takes a very long time, in the meantime you can't kick out the people bc it's not clear they don't have the right to be there.

    These laws protect legitimate tenants, but these people post as legitimate tenants to get free housing until their ruse is uncovered.
