  1. Hey oversimplified!! really enjoyed this video! helped me so much, keep being you and dont listen to the hate. you have just gained a follower for life

  2. imagine if king edward just randomly woke up after all of this and decided he should still be king

  3. Fun fact:the Norman’s conquest (when Normandy invaded England) was only 16 days and it is one of the shortest battles in history

  4. Many people, mostly Americans, put a lot of emphasis on the 'h' in words that begin with 'wh', example: Hank Hill when he says 'I tell ya hwat'.

  5. Been a subscriber for years and years, I’ve watched this video 5 years ago, but how did I not realize I got rickrolled? Lmaooo I just started rewatching it and dang yowch

  6. I’ve been doing some ancestry family tree work, and all of those Anglo-Saxon kings are my ancestors

  7. That "one soldier single handedly defending a bridge from all attacks until the soldiers find a unique way to kill him" story is very similar to the story of Benkei

  8. Harold’s brother tostig betrayed him and join the Viking and was killed by Harold when they attacked

  9. 9:22 I learnt this in my History class years ago that it was actually a strategic tactic named ‘Feint Flight’ where the Norman forces would retreat, baiting the front ranks of the English force to break rank and chase the Normans allowing the cavalry to charge around the soldiers and encircle and kill them. My teacher has his masters degree and has written and published historian articles so i’d like to think this is accurate.

  10. ,..😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😊😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
