19. My car radio got stolen parked in Jamshed Town, Karachi. I went to the Jamshed Town Thana to write my FIR. Turns out they made me write a 'kachi FIR' . Our system is far from keeping track of crimes and giving justice in reality.

20. The whole judicial system of Pakistan needs to be replaced with an Islamic judicial system like the one in Saudi Arabia. The present judicial system of Pakistan is like a Mercedes in a poor man's garage. Just like Mercedes, our judicial system has great qualities on paper but maintaining it's bells and whistles for a poor country like Pakistan is just not possible. As a result it just does not work. We keep blaming govt for the shortfalls in a case but govt can put pressure only until perpetrator isn't in custody. Once he is in judicial, govt can't do much, its the justice system which takes its course from there on.

34. Except for the diyat concept, it's pretty much the same system as in the rest of the world. With minor variations between countries.

35. A very careful talk… what else should be expected from an advocate. The last point he made about serving the justice in court of law, giving the rightful verdict to the accused this is maximum what judiciary can do. Implementing that verdict and completing the process of punishment is responsibility of other institution. Deet (blood money) is a much needed option in case of qatl-e-khata or accidental and unintentional murder but not in case of brutal murders. State has the right to void the option of deet in such cases. Of course a comman man is not aware of shariah laws or English laws or even one's own rights. Our ignorance allows others to manipulate us. Kamzor aur ghareeb ko bohat dafa Deet lainy k liye pressurise kia jata hy. Agr intezamiya mazboot ho tu ghareeb ko qisas lainay py khouf na ho.
