On July 24, 2023, police responded to a complaint in Wausau, WI regarding a 25-year-old man from Texas who was causing disturbances in the area. Upon arrival, the man couldn’t be found. An hour later, a stolen vehicle was reported. The witness described seeing a man matching the Texas man’s description walking through the parking lot and seeing his truck being driven. Initially thought to be a joke, it quickly became apparent that it was a serious matter. The suspect, who was on probation, was later located via his ankle monitor. As for the stolen truck, it seemed to have undergone extensive alterations.

  1. Video name: "The Prank That Turned Out To Be a Disastrous Crime"

Watched entire video… prank wasnt mentioned once… where was the prank? Was the word "prank" put in there to help the vid climb the algorithm?

  2. To the people complaining about the spelling of Hervey – this is a legitimate variant of Harvey and has been in use since the 12th century. Harvey as a given name also is very old and used since the Norman Conquest.
(although it is possible that the parents didn't know that and simply misspelled the name ^^;)

  3. The beauty would be if the truck owner had just bought a meth pipe and now the scumbag has that charge added too XD Poor bugger. Hope his insurance doesn't screw him over.

  4. I like that Hervey here was able to do all of this and still given bond. He totally won't be a complete moron again 😂

  5. What kind of idiot fights the police when they have you cuffed and under control? And he's blaming everyone but huimself for the 5 years+ he's abotu to lose of his life. Well maybe don't steal trucks, idiot?

  6. Honestly in this day and age the title might as well just be "The Crime that Turned out to be a disastrous crime"

  7. Yes Hervey, a civilian driving a police car chased you down with lights and sirens, pointed a gun at you while screaming commands which you obeyed, with her partner got you handcuffed, helped you up to your feet, and then, ONLY at that point did she finally become a sworn, official police officer. Excellent observation! 🤣😂

Edit: 5:10 if anyone is confused 🙂

  8. Must really suck for the original car owner. Try getting your money back once the insurance company finds out you left your truck for longer periods of time unlocked with a spare key inside

  9. Hervé is blaming the whole world for his problems.

If he would realize that his mentality is the problem, maybe one day he could put his life back together.

    Nah!

Put the fool where he belongs, behind bars.

  10. I salute all cops. They've got some kahunas on them approaching criminals. I'd be afraid of being shot 24/7 They absolutely should not be judging him, "he's playing games" etc. when he has a head injury. "How fast were you going when you hit the tree?", "80 errr or 60!"
