5. To the people complaining about the spelling of Hervey – this is a legitimate variant of Harvey and has been in use since the 12th century. Harvey as a given name also is very old and used since the Norman Conquest.
   (although it is possible that the parents didn't know that and simply misspelled the name ^^;)

Yes Hervey, a civilian driving a police car chased you down with lights and sirens, pointed a gun at you while screaming commands which you obeyed, with her partner got you handcuffed, helped you up to your feet, and then, ONLY at that point did she finally become a sworn, official police officer.
