The long-awaited trial of Michelle Troconis got underway with prosecutors presenting evidence from the day Jennifer Farber Dulos went missing.

The first person to testify was Lieutenant Aaron LaTourette, of the New Canaan Police Department. He was the first patrol officer on the scene. The jury watched body cam footage of LaTourette walking through the home and focusing on what appears to be blood stains on the floor and a black SUV. LaTourette and his partner are also seen looking through Jennifer Dulos’ purse. The nanny, Lauren Almeida, tells police it’s unusual for Jennifer’s purse to be in the house when she isn’t home.

It was the nanny who called the police the night Jennifer Dulos disappeared. Lauren Almeida testified about witnessing Dulos’ marriage go from one of love and trust to one of fear and intimidation after Fotis Dulos admitted to an affair. Almeida describes threats leveled by Fotis to take the children to Greece and never return. Almeida feared what Fotis Dulos would do to Jennifer or the kids if she filed for divorce while they were living under the same roof.Almeida told the jury how she helped Jennifer Dulos secretly move her things out of the house so as not to alarm Fotis Dulos.

On the stand, Almeida tells the jury about the day Jennifer Dulos vanished. Jennifer Dulos dropped her children off at school and was never seen again. Her body has never been found.

  1. I was excited to listen but when she went down a “men are dogs” line I shut it off. Some men are dogs, but not all. Many women cheat on their loyal husbands, many women kill their husbands. Does Nancy call all women some degrading animalistic term, herself included, when she highlights a crime committed by a woman. Probably not. So obnoxious

  2. Nancy, I love you. This guy thought he was G-d,s gift to women. He was a loser and a user, latched onto a rich girl and used her and threw her away.

  3. Nancy, I absolutely love this style of top. Burgundy is defiantly Your color! Great coverage. I grew up in Litchfield and still have family and friends in the Canaan area.

  4. Nah nah nah Nancy, dogs are loving loyal and protective, dogs are delightful, so don’t insult them when you compare them to SOME scum bag human men!

  5. I swear I have not liked you Nancy … But the more I listen to you the more I like you. You are kinda brash but when it's needed. And you are just so knowledgeable…. Dang it you have won me over 😁

  6. Defence tactic? Object to all significant evidence. Stir in some foggy bs to baffle the jury. Failing big time! (From a non-lawyer).

  7. "Men are dogs"? Who came up with that saying? Why insult dogs that way? It doesn't even make sense because most dogs are loyal, loving companions who will stay by your side until their final breath. Men? Not so much.

  8. How did he get to her house all cars were identified in the neighbors security cameras. Michelle had to be around to pick him up at the suburban right.

  9. MAN IT'S NO DOG ALL SORRY SHEME ON ALL NO MAN ITS YOU SAY COZ YOU SAY ITS YOUR PROBLEM. MY FATHER ITS THE BEST SORRY

  10. I’m a huge Nancy Grace fan. She really gets the angle and investigates like a woman scorned! Can’t wait for the Koberger trial. She ll be spot on. Woman’s intuition plus intelligence plus experience!

  11. He married her for her money and children, then went elsewhere for sex after 5 kids, the dog part is big here!

  12. The predictability factor is a great point. I would absolutely notice stuff that outsiders would not.

  13. Men cheat because they are insecure and why they cheat down is because they find themselves needing validation from a woman who isn't their wives. Anyone who cheats are just unhappy with themselves, so they look for happiness on others. I'm thinking that their beautiful wives make them feel inadequate (having a beautiful wife) so they look for another woman they feel that aren't too pretty because they think she's desperate…all the while he's the desperate one! Thank you, Nancy, for your continued inpacful and thought-provoking coverage!

  14. Nancy’s passion and drive turns into disrespect to her guests. She asks and then constantly interrupt and talks over them.

  15. Ooh goodness I thought you meant David Lynch, somehow I couldnt see it, I think your husband spells his surname differently? Oh and I agree 100% on dogs and cheating 'down', lots of life experience (I'm a young 66) has confirmed what you said. The nanny was a real friend to Jennifer.
