3. that's the most realistic reaction i have ever seen in a law and order episode. usually it's the opposite which is more f'ed up. him tossing his cookies, is the most realistic response to have. i actually hate when they all act like this is ok and walk off. this kid, is the best actor ever with the most endearing response. he's one of the first legitimate human beings i have seen on a law and order episode.

15. What I find really disgusting is that Shannon’s mother was ready to throw her own son as a suspect just to throw suspicion off her lover.

One notable aspect of this particular episode is that it had tow big-screen movie stars appear in it – Jane Seymour and Glen Slater (I got to meet her at an Armegeddon Expo show a some years ago as she was one of the guest stars there,, I was struck by how beautiful she's in person also according to her I was the first fan to ask about her SVU appearance).

29. Affair aside (dad), this also falls on the mothers. I remember in the episode, they “forbid” their kids from seeing each other, however, they never said why. They made it seem like petty adult stuff- if they were less secretive and more forthcoming then maybe their children would not have slept with a sibling unknowingly 🥴
