  1. Twice in line of duty I had to make kill/don’t kill decisions. 51+ years later I still see those scenes even though “don’t” was the answer both times.

  2. What about the argument that LE could have been called without confronting the invader? This doesn’t take away from the young man arming himself. Is the premise that he was acting in defense of his grandfather, notwithstanding castle doctrine?

  3. When I was 12 yrs old I took a hunter safety course. Have had a 12 gauge, 410 shotgun and a 30-30 ever since and they were mine. These were my guns for hunting. How is 14 to young to have a shotgun?

  4. Last I checked, no age limitations on preserving one's life. This is one time the so-called Justice system needs to look the other way and more on to the next case.

  5. Didn't watch the video. Just read the title. It doesn't matter in my opinion what happens to him. At that point he had the means to defend himself and he did. Even if it was illegal for him to use his grandpa's gun because of tyrannic laws by the state where he lives. It's better to try to defend oneself rather than die without a fight and just be slaughtered.

  6. Under the circumstances > I'd say YES he was well within legal right to do what he did. NOW > If in one of the states controlled by I D I O T S > it'd probably have ended up the child being arrested as well as his Grandpaw.

  7. I have been through this situation and the aftermath is terrible. Just assume avoid the situation at all costs.

  8. How did this happen!? Someone breaks into a home! Knowing the home does not belong to them! The home owner has to try to determine, not just that if my life is in danger, but should I shoot? What if he turns his back? Is that a knife in his hand, a gun? This is what's crazy! The criminal now has the upper hand, knowing he can break in any home he feels and chances are, he won't get shot! I'll even take a gun to scare them even more! One thing I will say, a lot of people are defending their homes, and they shoot to scare the burglar! Afraid of the courts! Another notch for the criminal!

  9. In Arizona, suspect juveniles have the option to have a patent or guardian there during questioning, and if they want one, officers have to allow it.

  10. It was a justifiable shoot in my book, but we always have to know and understand the laws in your state because the law differs, especially in the Northern states, the laws are more stringent , than the open carry states

  11. I made sure that each of my children learned how to chute as soon as they had enough strength to handle the recoil of a qlock. Our 2A rights are not just for adults

  12. In Louisiana the kid would have been given that shotgun by Grandpa as a thanks for protecting him and the the town they lived in would've probably given the grandpa a medal

  13. No 14 year old should have been faced with the situation of taking or possibly taking a life from anyone!!

  14. I was training with firearms and firearm safety at 6 yo. The laws very where you are. I am glad you presented this.

  15. Nothing will happen, but gramps might tell the kid to replace the rounds. Biden Economy makes practicing you second amendment expensive.

  16. Grandpa will go to jail 3-5, juvenile will be free in 6 months after having first taste of institutionalization. Later to travel and give speeches about government overreach.
