The Supreme Court recently heard oral arguments in a historic case concerning former President Donald Trump’s claim of immunity, a case initiated by Special Counsel Jack Smith. During the proceedings, the Justices scrutinized the boundaries of presidential immunity, particularly in post-presidential contexts. This landmark case could set a significant legal precedent regarding the extent to which former Presidents are protected from legal actions after leaving office.

  1. It is the legislative branch, not the judicial branch that the executive branch would have to answer to if there was crimes committed by a sitting president. It would be up to the legislative branch, i.e. Congress, the Senate to impeach the president for whatever crimes and then from there once impeached he could be held account, for other things he may have done or may not have done, but it’s not for the judicial branch to decide before the legislative branch does it

  2. He sounds like Bobby Kennedy if only Bobby Kennedy would talk to his words I could support him

  3. But didn’t Joe and Hunter Biden engage in bribery with Burisma but the DOJ hasn’t indicted Sleepy Joe.

  4. I was cutoff by my phone company, somebody didn't want me to see this. Therefore, I can't comment on it. 😢

  5. Turn down the thermostat in the White House to the temp it's set at in the courtroom. Conserve energy for everybody.

  6. Why are they trying to freeze President Trump? Are they trying to cause him to come down with pneumonia?

  7. I think another issue that needs to be addressed on Presidential immunity. When a president conducts an official act, must the President first confer with a government agency or official or confer with Congress before declaring that official act or does an official act just means the President taking action on their own initiative? If a President needs to confer with anyone outside his presidential authority then I would think that outside person or entity has more authority than the President.

  8. Stop with the hypotheticals , we all know what’s right free trump now or lose America as we knew it for the last 250 years … Trump trump trump are only way out of this crapola . 🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏🏼

  9. So your speaking in terms of intentional versus unintentional… at least that's what I'm gathering… I could be wrong.

  10. This one is hard to understand because 95% of all appointees gave large donations or time to support their candidate or party before they received their appointments. Is that now being considered as a "bribe"?

  11. They need to be careful because Obama and Biden may be guilty of murder with that gun running deal they made.

  12. The Constitution says after you’ve been impeached. That is why they tried to impeach Trump after he had left office.

  13. With all these questions about private transactions, they are actually testing the waters for previous presidents and and politicians. Think about it . They are using President Trump as a test bed …….

  14. Hello,
