This is what scares the crap out of me if i was ever iut in that situaton. I have a bad back and my balance is shot from it over the years. I never drink and drive but thats doesnt stop you from getting a dui.
You can just refuse the field sobriety test… the breath test is a different story, if you refuse that they will still charge you with failing to provide a breath test. But a field sobriety test anyone can refuse.
Like 1st comment. Just refuse the field sobriety tests and ask for breathalyzer. The test arent pass or fail. They are only designed to collect evidence. Ive seen so many times, people perform tests correctly and officer testifies that they wobbled, didn't follow instructions, so on and so on. You can not pass these tests. Just blow in breathalyzer
This is silly. Refuse field sobriety and tell them you are tired and your allergies are acting up. Talk as little as possible.

Depending on the laws in your state, it might be better to refuse the field sobriety test altogether. They are designed for you to fail, leaving whether you pass up to the subjective interpretation of the officer.

Here in the UK, they dont waste their time like the US cop's! They get the machine straight out to blow in.
