Webster, N.Y. (WHAM) — Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley was the main subject of public comment at the Webster Town Board meeting on Thursday.

People from across the area sounded off at the meeting and called for accountability and an investigation into how the police department handled the traffic stop.

“If it were anyone else, the police would have detained Doorley and given her a breathalyzer test because of her behavior and demeanor,” said one speaker. “The officers didn’t demonstrate that no one is above the law.”

  1. Why again is a woman not being held accountable for her behavior? I am truly shocked….Not

  2. DEMONIC.

    🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🇺🇲

👏🏻Officer doing his Job to Protect and Serve. Thank You.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🚓💙♥️

  3. aNd eSpeCiaLy iF yOuRe bLaCk. These clowns need to grow up and stop feeling sorry for themselves. Yes black people get away with it all of the time when they're in positions of power.

  4. Sadly there will never be appropriate justice served because there is a double standard and this incident proves that. I commend the police officer on duty who tried his best to do his job. But both the DA and the Chief of Police should be fired! This is absolutely unacceptable and apologies don’t matter!
    Save the apology.

  5. A very difficult situation?
Exactly what was so 'difficult' about it?
    That officer is a PUSSY.
If that had been an 'ordinary' citizen he would've taken her to jail.

  6. Professionalism??? The Cop stated that this DA admitted to going 55 in a 35 zone. So why wasn't a speeding ticket issued? Why wasn't an evading the police ticket issued? If the Cop was Professional, he would have issued those tickets in doing his job. He did not. Nope, no Professionalism was executed here….

  7. Proud of the police what an absolute joke different rules for different people 😊

  8. C'mon, "Proud"?. What is he "proud" of? This would not have been handled in this way, by the Police, for any other non-connected or average citizen. We all know that. Their hypocrisy leaves a foul smell of deification on the entire Law Enforcement and Political System in that town. I would hope the voters in that town well remember this, when they go to the polls.

  9. Listen to this im "The DA of this country wtf! Really its gon to her head! Her position get her out !! Now ! Sack this woman!

  10. This sucks. Then they cry thier isn't privilege. Let's move on
Yet they do stuff like this.

  11. Why did he say that the police were in a very difficult situation? It's pretty cut and dry. She broke several laws and needs to be held accountable. People like her love to repeat that "nobody is above the law" when it benefits them. Treat her like anybody else would be treated. How does someone so immature and childish become the top law enforcement officer in their county? All she did was justify and make excuses for her behavior, like a little kid. Lock her up and make her resign.

  12. How can she be in charge of deciding others fates when she has no moral compass?!

  13. That woman said it all when she said we will keep coming back til the police department is held accountable for their inaction..bravo maam you nailed it !!

  14. The news agencies doesn't say if she is a Democrat or republican. Either way she needs to be removed from office.

  15. Why are the cops saying the did a great job being in a difficult situation.. It should be difficult if everyone iss treatrd the same .but we know cops and law enforcement always get a pass. . So now what ? NOTHING

  16. the cop was looking for his superior on scene to say "I'll back your decision" but his superior instead told him "I'm not gonna interfere with your traffic stop" which, in my oppinion was a b!tch move, this superior officer looked at his subordinary officer and essentualy told him, you're on your own kid, I'm not gonna interfere in your traffic stop. we constantly see cops back other cops play when their play happens to be illegal/criminal, but here's a play in every way should've been backed and he's like…sorry 'bout your luck. I'm tired of feeling down hearted about the people that should be our hero's!

  17. The cop failed to do his job because ahe was the DA. She made every excuse and he gave her special treatment. No one wanted to stand up and do their job. Certain people have been shot for driving away and then you see this and have to acknowledge that laws are applied differently depending 🫤

  18. What difficult situation might you be talking about??? Appears clear to most of us. What is wrong with your sense of right and wrong?

  19. You know who is getting a lot of heat right now. It isn't Doorley. It's the officer that pulled her over. The Chief doesn't give two sh*s about justice. I guarantee he is upset about looking bad because this officer didn't follow the corrupt procedures on who is/isn't accountable.
