The act of stealing credit card data and making unauthorized transactions can be deemed as a criminal offense, as anyone who intentionally and without authority or against the law accesses a computer and/or electronic system by any means with the intention of obtaining electronic information and/or electronic documents, shall be punished with imprisonment for a maximum of seven years and/or a fine of up to seven hundred million Indonesian rupiah.
