After Chief Deputy District Attorney Adriane Love finished questioning Tick in re-direct examination he defense attorneys got another shot at him. First up was Max Schardt, who represents Shannon Stillwell.
Schardt asked Tick about his plea hearing, which jurors ahd just watched via video during his re-direct exam. Schardt is trying to emphasize the conditions Tick was under. He argued vehemently against the video of his plea hearing being used, and part of his reasoning was that jurors wouldn’t be getting the full picture of what Tick was facing when he took the plea deal.
Fulton County Superior Court Judge Ural Glanville rejected his arguments ( and allowed the video, so these questions are Schardt’s attempt to make sure the jury understands what Tick was going through.
