  1. Entire world should come forward and supoort Calcutta (Kolkata) revolution. It was not just that crime happened but worst part is that local administration tried to hide it and support. Such a Shame.

  2. You can have death penalty for rape but if the state government applies its might to defend corrupt rapists and harass victims then what do people do ?

West Bengal chief minister holding multiple portfolio continuously continues to protect and reward rapists.

  3. 12 women members of parliament belonging to the ruling party in Bengal have been silent, large number of women lawyers accompanied Kapil Sibal to defend the TMC government. Women in India are more anti women than men.

  4. isn't she one of the lawyers who is defending the culprits? the bengal govt? the hospital authority?

  5. a govt. led by a tyrant of a woman committed the crime and the cover up… and here we are talking about the patriarchy. ahh good old BBC. nundy is a living, breathing, metastasised disgusting tumour in the flesh.

  6. why no specific on west bengal govt- it is leftist, why bbc is not paying taxes becoz they are with leftists, karuna nandy will deflect from west bengal, tamil nadu becoz she supports leftists

  7. She is d main descease with a communist mind….she goes to our enemy Country to ask for help to throw our ellected government….her guru is Mani Shanker Iyyar….need we say more😂

  8. Why dont you understand, that any kind of moral conception is always related to RELIGION.

Could it be, that Hinduism and Islam have no proper concept for a truthfull living sexuality.

You should learn to compare Hinduism, Buddhism and Islam with Christianity. Specially the 10 Commandments have to be seen.
And within the 10 Commandment is the 6. Commandment extrem important.

Please check all this much better, than before.

  9. The lawyer is justifying Rape ,as she says ,it happens in UK, it Happens in USA also. Also, the deceased was not a medical student. She was a resident doctor ,serving the sick and ill in night for past 36 hours .

  10. Patriarchy is not the problem it is the anarchy that is the problem .

Rape happens all over the world but this is not a case of just rape . This is rape , torture and murder safe guarded by influential people .

By bringing in issues like patriarchy you are just diluting the over all matter .

  11. LIES- heard the entire interview on bbc radio. She mentions how the Delhi HC was wrong in granting post conviction rape in one of her matters. However, she messed up by not having applied for cancellation of the convicts bail during trial. This was the reason post conviction bail was granted. That rapist is currently on bail due to her acts. A hypocrite of the highest order. The order is available on the Delhi HC website in case no Crl A 279/2019.

  12. What is marital rape and why is it done on wife by her husband?
Is that wife not loving husband or the husband is more libidinous.

  13. Hypocrisy is evident from their conversation, both are opportunist for building narrative of their own. BBC should bother about Grooming Gang, basically rape factory under the guise of social organisation. Karuna Nandy, basically a Advocate in oblivion is trying to secure attention by doing outlandish activities. Disgusting

  15. When she says the system is not serving the Muslims well since the last 10 years , why doesn’t she talk about the atrocities and terrorist activities of some Muslims and their chant ‘sar tan se juda’ by them and actually executing in some cases.
Targeting the government and people with contrarian views exposes her bias.

  16. She is smart but caught in a bind! Her natural tendencies leaning to a left liberal woke system clashes with her future in India!

  17. According to me, generalising statement such as this, is not appropriate 🤔 we have different situations. There were and there are lot of women who posses great amount of influence. Luxury, lust etc., with lot of various facts which are responsible for the situation, we are in. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♀️ we have one lot of women who still think, delivering a female child is unacceptable to them. Still, most of us are 'uneducated dumbs". It is changing, in another 20 years, we should have a better society….

  18. Very much part of the problem in India is that our legal infrastructure structures are weak…
Dearth of Judges. Dearth of Courts.
There is a lack of transparency and accountability because of the long delays for legal cases…
which don’t come up for hearing for years! This gives criminals the opportunity to keep committing crime.

  19. The case is never actually discussed in any of these interviews, but it is always mentioned in the headline.
