8. These crime bills have been done before with catastrophic Impacts to where they are enacted. The first problem and probably the largest is if everyone got a life sentence, then this would work however if you housing people who break the law for 2-15 years and just vomit them back in the community with felonies so they can never get a job and will remain on welfare for the most part for the rest of their lives. This will destroy the city even faster than before. Second is the cost, because we are a rich country, the cost to police and warehouse people are in the billions, just for jails and prisons US taxpayers pay 84B annually. Just think about that, in 10 years, that's over 840 billion dollars. When adjusted for inflation, we put a man on the moon for less than 257B, which was actually 25.7B in 1973.
   Lastly is infrastructure because this system employs millions of people and generates billions for these workers it something that can't stop overnight, but aside from that, there are many people trying to expand this system as an solution to crime when in fact it is crime college or criminal universities.
   As we descend further into this doomloop, when will we realize our leaders only care about one thing, and it's not this country or its people.
