The Florida woman accused of suffocating her boyfriend in a suitcase can’t seem to get along with her public defenders. Her eighth defense attorney, Patricia Cashman, filed to withdraw from representing Boone, citing irreconcilable differences. Boone submitted a 50-page complaint about Cashman, calling her “too snotty” at one point. Law&Crime’s Sierra Gillespie breaks down the latest in Boone’s case.
The alleged murder occurred in the couple’s Orange County home where Boone claimed they drank wine and played hide-and-seek before she passed out. However, a video allegedly recorded on her phone contradicts her account. While the trial is scheduled for October 7, it remains uncertain if it will proceed as planned or who will represent her moving forward.

Why is it that every commentator on this channel consistently confuse the difference between jail and prison? A year or less is served in Jail, and a year and a day , or more, is served in prison!
I feel like she’s either waiting for a lawyer to do what she wants them to do, and if she can’t get that, she’ll probably use the most-likely poor trial as an excuse to ask for a retrial for the impending guilty verdict. All because she won’t cooperate.
For those of you who have not seen it, watch the interview that she did with detectives when she was at the police station. She is in a level of denial and repression that is rare air.

I get it. The judge is scared of the appellate court. But at 8 lawyers he’s well within his grounds to say “you’re taking this lawyer, or you’re defending yourself in October”

I know what this is. She wants a lawyer that's gonna tell her she is innocent and will get off not guilty and all this other stuff and it's just not a reality!
That is what we would call delusional. Maybe a play for some type of diminished capacity thing? But she is sending the judge 8-page letters so I don't think that would work.
She definitely abused the boyfriend. Sorry, it might have been mutual abuse, but the tone of the boyfriend's voice was not that of an abuser.
