AIMIM Chief raised the issue of Muslims in jail during the discussion. He said that if the maximum number of undertrial prisoners in Indian jails are there, they are Muslims. 20 percent Muslims are in jails while their conviction rate is 14 percent and their share in the population is 14 percent.
AIMIM चीफ ने चर्चा के दौरान जेलों में बंद मुस्लिमों का मुद्दा उठाया। उन्होंने कहा कि भारत के जेलों में अगर सबसे ज्यादा अंडरट्रायल कैदी हैं तो वह मुस्लिम हैं। जेलों में 20 प्रतिशत मुस्लिम बंद हैं जबकि उनका कन्विक्शन रेट 14 प्रतिशत है और आबादी में हिस्सेदारी 14 फीसदी है
