Isn't the "History and Tradition" line of thought a logical fallacy–like Appeal to Authority or something? I mean, George Washington was killed by having his blood drained to treat a cold, that's who we're relying on in the modern day when we appeal to "History and Tradition".
It's worrying that self proclaimed christians want to "restore faith in America" yet this is how they do it. Rather than being a good and inspiring example they're legal bullies who want to push it down everyone's throat.

I was worried about the guy who wants to role things back to the 1940's does that mean unwinding Brown vs. Board of Education and all civil rights. They're going after civil rights on religious grounds. They want to go back to the immediate post war era, as a mythological time. I think these people have no problem with Jim Crow laws.
