I think it's not smart to say you called him a pedo and that's why you needed help bc you all were kids and him being a pedo makes you afraid. Why didn't the man leave after they were all yelling and screaming in his face? IF he felt they were going to cause harm and as everyone said the volume was going up. The man wasn't yelling or saying anything. We know after his heart surgery, his heart was probably pounding as he said it was…mine would have been. Having had surgery and now you feel backed into corner and heart pounding (am I going to have another heart attack?) His footing wasn't good in the water and throw in the bad shoes. If you try to run they might possibly be like a pack of wolves, a street gang and go after him. Go after the prey. Normally maybe they wouldn't but they are almost all very intoxicated. He may have felt it was safer to stand facing them and hope they stop. But instead he ends up hit choked pushed into water and the only thing is none of them thought or expected him to have something in his pocket he could use for self defense. That knife wasn't unusual for the man as he used it a lot for many things, a tool. I think in his position especially once the hands around the throat occurred he had to think, or just an automatic self defense thing kicked in and the knife was all he had. He certainly wasn't in shape to fight them off. Even someone in good shape and younger probably couldn't have fought that group off. These so called children need to take some responsibility and realize they clearly were the biggest start to the issue…at least according to the video. Had they not done things we see who knows, maybe the man would go crazy and if so we would see it differently. No one has an opportunity to think that would be the case. Even his ex wife said he was a very peace😢ful man. No one has said anything to the contrary. He has lost his life, his wife, his job and everything. He spent 2 years in jail already. Yes, I feel badly for Isaac's mom. That was her baby. Regardless of anything he may have done tgat day tgat added to the situation, he's still her baby boy. I understand her pain. It's unfortunate. Alcohol and drugs and testosterone all added fuel to something that didn't have to happen but putting a that blame on that man isn't the answer.

11. Two years after an event gives you time to reflect on something that happened. It also gives you plenty of time to cross reference with the others involved and also take on board what your lawyer has told you what to say and what not to say.

Also, the boys were constantly telling him to go away, so it’s hard to say this is self defense. There is a point where a legal adult is obligated to leave kids alone when they say go away.

    I think the kids were extremely immature in handling Miu who I do think is a creep. I personally think Miu posed a lot of body language and mannerisms that show he was kind of playing along as a certain character with the intent of tricking his “prey.” His eyes constantly looked glazed over however darty and yet he had a smile of malicious intent.

    The kids messed around and found out, but I just don’t think we’re are getting the full story here. There has to be dialogue we are missing.

32. The issue I had with the defense using that photo. they portrayed it as Isaac grabbed him by the throat and then he got stabbed. He had already been stabbed at this point and Isaac shoved him away. He never attempted to choke Miu.
