Lok Sabha MP Asaduddin Owaisi on December 20 raised concern over new Criminal Laws. Owaisi questioned Centre over the men’s rights in the newly-introduced laws. A new record was set up in the new Parliament building in this winter session as three key Bills – Bharatiya Nyaya (Second) Sanhita, 2023; the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha (Second) Sanhita, 2023; and the Bharatiya Sakshya (Second) Bill, 2023 – were passed which will completely overhaul the country’s criminal laws.
