  1. The defendant needs to work when not required to be in court to pay for this ridiculous circus. The only person not paid to be in court is the defendant!

  2. Its a power trip to these judges. Court starts a 9am and you better be there. An hour later the judge finally walks out .

  3. So, she asked if the defendant was gonna be there, dude said yes, defendant didn’t show, and the genius move by him is saying, “actually what I meant is that if these very specific set of parameters are met then yes my defendant will be here, but the parameters were not met so he is not here”? And the entire comment section is mad at the judge? Someone explain this to me clearly I don’t get it

  4. This is a perfect example of what the State does all the time. It tries to force the defendant into missing work (income) for no reason other than to delay the proceedings. The Judge and the Attorney both know this, which is why she's upset. The Attorney told his client not to play along with it.

  5. NEVER, never ever vote in a judge/DA who is endorsed by the F.O.P., they are usually stupid, and will ALWAYS gum up the works if the case is against pigs.

  6. Aside the comments all attacking the judge, the root issue was a simple miscommunication/misunderstanding/misinterpretation of the initial question and answer. We all have experience this situation in life via bf, gf, family member, coworker, friend, boss, etc.

  7. "Where there is no jurisdiction there is no judge;
    the proceeding is as nothing. Such has been the
    law from the days of the Marshalsea, 10 Coke 68;
    also Bradley v. Fisher, 13 Wall 335,351." Manning
    v. Ketcham, 58 F.2d 948
    brutum fulmen": "An empty noise; an empty
    threat. A judgment void upon its face which is in
    legal effect no judgment at all, and by which no
    rights are divested, and from which none can be
    obtained; and neither binds nor bars
    anyone. Dollert v. Pratt-Hewitt Oil Corporation,
    Tex.Civ.Appl, 179 S.W.2d 346, 348. Also, see

  8. To anyone pointing out the timestap is already after 1pm, 02/28/20 was a Friday and they are scheduling for a Monday trial.

  9. Why does the judge want this person there if the trial has not started? It was made clear he can be there if needed so what’s the issue?

  10. No what this tells me is yes there are laws but they make up what’s good for them and this lawyer is text book 📚 meaning his client didn’t have to be there thats what he is for but that judge would power trip if another didn’t do their homework.

  11. Judges are like those horrible bosses that failed upwards in life rather than losing their jobs they just moved on bigger and better things.
