Alien depictions are often way too human-centric for my liking. This is life that developed on an entirely different planet under very different conditions, so why is it such a standard assumption for it to be an upright usually bipedal four-limbed two-eyed body shape? I get it for tv and movies where they needed actors to go in suits or makeup, but a lot of times people just need to be more creative.
