We’ve been playing our way through every Ace Attorney game with an Actual Lawyer, and since we just finished up Apollo Justice, it’s time to keep pressing on in the franchise with Dual Destinies! We have our real lawyer to playthrough the Ace Attorney franchise and show us just how realistic is the court system depicted in our Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Dual Destinies let’s play as well as our professional voice actor voice all the roles! This time we continue the final court day of Case 5-3, Turnabout Academy, and finally get Hugh O’Connor to admit that he’s kind of a weird loser.

We record the show live on Wednesdays at 7:30 pm EST, so please come and watch us live then right here on our YouTube channel!

  2. I’m making the call now 5 minutes before stream… the body double is obviously LUKE ATMEY BOOMSHAKALAKA IM A BIGGER GENIUS THAN HUGH

  3. 53:47

It is the Spy from Team Fortress 2

No, literally, for those who don't know, when the spy disguises as the enemy, he appears to his teammates as wearing a paper mask and that's it.

  4. 4:20 (I wasn't going for the awesome reference on the time frame but I'll go ahead and take it) Hugh, Confucius once said "Man who keeps hands in pockets will remain 'cocky' all day, or at least how the joke went. I never actually bothered to look up if it's real or not because it was on the level of funny as the baby crib one. I'm not apologizing for it, and don't tell me that I'm wrong, just go with the laughs.

  5. 1:03:22 you fools! You've fallen right into my trap! This image was ACTUALLY an elaborate ruse to sneak my cat into a Save Data Team video >:) (the phone has a very tiny photo of my cat on Bobby's shoulder)

  6. Interesting about the home defense laws. I… guess it makes sense?

The pacing of the cases in this game might actually be worse than GAAC 1? Like, a lot of the stuff that's going on is objectively pretty funny, but the plot is really suffering for it.

Hugh's body double is… a member of the Blue Man Group who just shaded his paint a bit darker than normal.

  7. If I had a nickle for every time something arranged for Klavier Gavin was used to stage a crime I'd have two nickles, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.

  8. You guys should DEFINITELY give Darkest Dungeon a try. You would love it, and I'm sure the fans would, too!

  9. Anatomically, Kool-Aid Man's Kool-Aid is more like hemolymph than blood. And I guess you could call the glass part of him an exoskeleton… Is Kool-Aid Man a bug?

  10. Hastings, Nebraska is the Bethlehem of the Kool-Aid faith.

The tape recording now joins the ranks of the Channeling Chamber and the Siren.

Ignominy is a wonderful old-timey word, that in no way has any bearing on the current political situation. None. Whatsoever.

"Let's pretend that never happened and move on to my verdict," sums up the presidential immunity trials.

  11. I just realised: any minor crime disqualify you from continuing law school, but going (still being in even???) to prison for [spoiler] doesn't stop Blackquill from practicing in a courtroom?

  12. 48:15 , blackwill: no my witness monster cant maintain its maintenance cost so its goofing of with this dribble. Well dont worry ill use my stand off spell card to negate your effects and make look in your opponents eyes head on. Hahahaha

  13. 53:52 Mood Matrix Featuring The Spy from Team Fortress 2

Also, I can't believe I never thought of this one before, but the real reason why seemingly nobody figured out that Hugh was 25 was because he did genius-level aging during his break to make himself look like he's 18.

  14. This entire scene is comedy gold. I take screenshots of things I find funny when I'm playing games, and literally every one of Hugh's mood matrix pictures is in my Ace Attorney folder. And the fact that Blackquill just fucking leaves to go on a stroll is amazing.

  15. 3:20 Judge: But you're the defense?
Athena: Actually, everyone becomes the prosecution when someone admits to jerking it in court.
    Judge: Guess you're right. Guilty!

  16. _ When I 1st learned about Hughes operating cranes, I genuinely thought it's just one of those anime things where a teenager got enough workplace experience for 10 careers

_ It's wild that Athena still believe Hugh is the murderer after seeing his injured hand. There is no way he's altering the crime scene, moving the body,… one-handed(because the other hand is heavily injured). And if he was the murderer, the 1st thing he does would be to clean up his own blood at the actual crime scene(the art room), that's is a huge evidence that he was at the crime scene, around the time of the murder(Wood was in the art room an hour before & didn't see the blood, so it was spilled after she left, i.e very close to the time of the murder)

  17. Can't wait for the Simon Blackquill apology video where he just says "Nuh Uh!" And then slashes the camera with his sword

  18. Blackquill just deciding to leave for a walk in the middle of a testimony is one of the best moments in the series. You know a testimony's bad when the prosecutor doesn’t even bother staying for it.

  19. Honestly, Hugh being 25 is the most ridiculous, unbelievable yet absoloutely hilarious thing about this case. Every time it catches me off guard because like, there’s no way no one noticed unless he just looks really young lol
