  1. I really liked this judge, but I think she was judge so harshly because the defense were indeed childish and I think she was judge by her looks as if she should be in the position. I really do believe that. I think she was fair and fighting against alot plus the media and peoples uneducated opinions. It was alot.

  2. Sure am glad to hear the reasons why this judge acted like she did with defense attorneys. We could not see everything that she saw. I did not like her during trial but don't dislike her now as much after hearing her side.
The book not sure how I feel about that.😮😮

  3. I liked this judge all along. I know judges have to keep their demeanor, but I thought that her response to the defense team made her more relatable. I also liked this interview. I thought she was being honest, and again, she comes through as relatable.

  4. I know a prosecutor who flipped the bird at a 'witness for the defense' at the end of the day. Prosecutor's and Detectives and some Judges are the problem with the legal system.

  5. I didn't like her during the trial she seemed very attention seeking guess her writing the book proves my feeling were right. Public servants now making more money by quitting their jobs and writing a book doesn't make me feel confident in their service.

  6. WAY too much make up! And too much Botox, to the point where she looks too young to be a judge or taken seriously! Lol

  7. Her father is a lawyer and employs her brothers. Her entire family is bringing in a larger salary than her and likely a lot less stressed. Meaning she probably thought, why am I putting myself through this, its time I joined the family's business! She got her experience. On a personal note, I couldn't stand watching her during the punishment phase but during her interviews, I found her more personable. I thought LIP was best for this case even tho the families were devastated. Now he can rot. Anyway! She really is pro prosecution and probably shouldn't be a judge. Darn I didn't realize she would say all that at the end.

  8. Thank God she backed down. Otherwise, she would have been a corrupt judge for sure. She almost sounds like a psychopath. And all these interviews are just marketing for her book.

  9. She is in a wealthy family and makes great money in the firm. The book money is likely a side project, but likely will be ginancially beneficial but she doesnt need the book to stay afloat.

    Unless she needs the attention…

  10. I rhink the defense seemed as if they thought itd make their name on the case just like the weasel prosecutor in the rRittenhouse trial

  11. So, I'm from the Stoneman Douglas community. She is not a popular figure down here. At several times in the trial, and even now with all these interviews, she's clearly self-serving. I think the whole resignation thing too might be specifically to write a book and make her retirement off it. I think she might have been playing the long game since before the trial. Nothing is her fault, but she's no Lance Ito.

  12. I’m just seeing this….. and if I’m honest, when I saw the Jennifer Crumbly case and the antics of her defense lawyer, it was this very trial that it reminded me of. Both trials were understandably extremely emotional and difficult and yes you have to be almost numb to be able to handle it. When there is a case so horrific that even the judge is having a hard time keeping it together, why can’t we as a society push for better laws that will protect our children. Stricter gun laws because there are those out there who don’t see a problem with handing a teenager a fire arm. We have to do better for the sake of our own.

  13. When she started criticizing the defense attorneys she was projecting. Every accusation applied to herself, too.

  14. This judge doesn’t have the temperament for judgeship. She was so moody and aggressive that I couldn’t stand her.

  15. I thought this judge was unprofessional. If the defense were out of line, order a sidebar; take it up in private. I’m not saying members of the defense didn’t act inappropriately at times but when the defense actually asked for a sidebar, she denied it, dismissed what they were trying to communicate, admonished them like school children & acted very catty & bitchy instead. Not a good look at all. It made a bad situation worse imo.

EDIT: & now she’s writing a book. 🙄 Seems like the latest cash-grab… court/judicial staff writing books. 🤑🤑🤑 It’s almost disrespectful to the victims imo.

  16. Very articulate woman —- she did an excellent job -we need more judges like her — not these judges that constantly let criminals walk

  17. I’ve heard way too much out of her mouth during the trial. At this point, she is just overstating that the bench was too big for her. Sadly, I know that these interactions, emotional exposure and attention seeking would not happen if it was a man.

  18. Your channel should be, lawyer you love, because you are such a handsome young man and your aura and attitude is beyond compare. Very enigmatic. Look at me using big words!

  19. the only time i have seen a judge cry was Jennifer Dorow the judge for Darryl brooks: She sure is not holding back: if she thought they were in over their heads could she not have removed them? The lawyers cant pass notes to each other? I did not know a judge could quit in the middle of a term: Her family sounds like the blue bloods(only lawyers) of FL

  20. I agree with the Judge’s comments relating to the defense team, their behaviors at times was embarrassing at times
