  1. If people can listen to Luke's stories and to understand them at the
    same time, they don't need to learn English, they already know it. So, they simply can take any story they want and read it themselves. As to me I need slower reading, slower listening and slower explaining, I'm not able to catch everything Luke says and explains, only some words. I'd like to continue to listen to stories but it gives me nothing from point of learning except of enjoying listening English itself. Sorry to say it, but the idea of learning English with short stories is great. You can try write your own short story as well.

  5. Luke, no doubt you are a great teacher but May i suggest some thoughts after i have watched this video? I think you should not put down everything you say.i would rather you write down Just the gist, the essential points you can rely on. In this way you do not get Lost in the flood of information. As they say : less is more and you can expand it gradually.

  9. I am an spanish teacher. I have been teaching spanish at a Public Secondary School in Madrid for 29 years. I am trying to improve my english for cultural, social and tourist purposes. I am just amazed how wonderful you are as a teacher. I would like to be a quarter as good as you are teaching spanish to spaniards as you teach english. Thank you very mucha Luke.
