  1. If an officer saw a crime occur, and did nothing to arrest the offender, or assist the victim , is that an omission, or a dereliction of duty ?
    What if the victim was not informed of specific information regarding their family or other situation, and by NOT knowing, other horrific crimes occured ? Can that be considered an omission ?

  2. Maybe could add reforms in such as the Law Commission Report proposed you should only be guilty for not acting if it was a 'serious crime' They also wanted the Miller case to be put into an Act of Parliament but this hasn't happened so it seems Parliament are happy with the current law.
