2. Cops show up for court to speeding tickets? I usually show to court for my tickets and I haven’t ever seen the guy who gave me a ticket.

3. My wife got a ticket. She went to the station the day after bright and early. The cop didn't even do the paperwork yet. He saw how important it was to her and he dropped the ticket

14. My dad beat a DOZEN or more seatbelt tickets with one simple trick. He showed up for court. In IL (Where tickets Quotas or Illegal, but cops spam tickets at the end of the month for metrics) all you usually need to do is show up, the cop most likely won't.

15. Fought 3 tickets like this and filed both a motion of discovery for a bunch of info and then a motion of dismissal when I didn't get everything I requeste or didn't get anything at all. You're innocent until proven guilt, so they have to prove you're guilty without any doubt

16. As a clarification if you don’t pay it you have to show up to court or you will end up with a warrant. Wasn’t really explained out in the video.

18. The calibration is so common right now, when i got pulled over the officer said, you were going xyz in a abc and my gun was calibrated yesterday’

20. Fun fact…Calibration is only accurate at the moment of calibration. Bumps, temperature changes, misuse, and a number of other factors are the reason it has to be recalibrated. Check your documentation.

40. The cop will just lie about the calibration. You need a witness that will lie as well. One good turn deserves another. Make SURE the cop knows they're lying.

45. I feel even if you are guilty and go through the process of trying to fight it, you still have a good chance of winning unless the cop decides to show up and really wants you to pay the fine.

    Or maybe my judgement is just inaccurate…

47. Everytime I’ve been to traffic court (admittedly a bit between 16-24 yrs old) every cop starts with “your honor I visually clocked him at 10 over so I used my radar gun calibrated 2 months ago and clocked him at 20 over.”

    This stuff does not work in Orange Counrt FL with the sheriff here lol.
