Nick Calandra & John Phipps Sent a Lawyer to Scare Me?? — Epic Fail!

Jake Thompson, the so-called intimidation lawyer from Knoxville, tried to call my video “actionable” because I made a “direct accusation.” Hilarious, considering Jake isn’t well-versed in what he’s doing. When the email to my workplace echoed Nick Calandra and John Phipps’ smear campaign, it just proved my point. By definition: actionable. Who smeared who?

Thompson DMed me, saying he didn’t want to be dragged into this after initially joining the smear. Why the change? He blocked me after claiming he’d stay out of it. Nick Calandra seethed this morning about me; yesterday he tweeted I shouldn’t be around children, encouraging someone to contact my job. Who’s hiding behind what?

Nick and John tried to intimidate me with a telecom lawyer, suggesting I take down my video exposing their smear campaign. They tweeted accusations, calling me a pedo who shouldn’t be near kids. Who smeared who?

Nick’s tweets encouraged people to contact my employer, trying to cut off my income. Their attacks come in response to my videos criticizing their behavior. This isn’t just a personal attack—it’s an attack on my livelihood.

This is a classic move to silence dissent. Actions like these hurt real people, not just their online personas. The community needs to stand up for accountability without normalizing smear campaigns to resolve conflicts.

  1. John Phipps? HA! More like John FIBS!!! The name fits perfectly! What a filthy liar!

  2. It’s so incredibly funny how the biggest “internet tough guys” are the weakest and softest people you will ever meet.

  3. nah this guy actually cries on any creators that makes videos about himself so……im not even judging you or see you any differently eric i can actually make my own opinion and i dont need pre made scandals to have one. also depending of what kind of social link you got at work im praticly 94% certain that they will ignore that i bet you already know that people will twist everything so they can become hero of their story …stop worrying…most people dnt use their brains and those who does that are around the same people who doesnt use it

  4. Fun fact….you have to prove damages to win a slander/libel. I highly doubt Nick Calandra could do that lol

  5. "Im an authority on this"
"Woah woah woah, I dont know anything about that subject"

  6. there was nothing wrong with your commentary. they should include that in highschool biology class. little nicky is full of soy, is all

  7. They are spinless cowards!. This is the biggest problem in gaming right now. This corporate schill armada that thinks it can usher its agenda into gaming. This is all comming from one department of the game dev scene. They dont like when you hold up a mirror in front of their actions! The fact they are beaming for you shows everyone their true nature and intentions. I have made the decision to research every dev company now before i buy their goods. Im at my end with corporate greed and woke BS!

  8. Well now guess their power of intimidation didn’t go in they’re favor then they thought, what a bunch of chumps, whimps, weakling, Runts, burnt charcoals

  9. you said Nick Calandra has a patreon? i don't think they'd like the fact one of their users is harassing people's workplaces and associates. i don't think patreon would be happy with any of his behavior lately.

  10. From where I'm standing, everyone on every side of this silliness sounds like middle school children lobbing insults at each other, parroting terms and phrases trying to sound powerful and generally behaving like petulant little kids.

  11. File a lawsuit against him and make it public, if any NDA is involved just say we'll let a jury decide. Sue both him and his company while also (with help of a lawyer) see if there's any possibility of a civil RICO claim in the suit. If there are grounds for it to be a RICO suit then it can focus also on those involved with the company that participated in the actions including calling your employer.

  12. From what I heard of lawsuits over youtube videos, taking a video down doesn't make you no longer liable for being sued due to claims of it already causing damage beforehand, so if they had an actual case and not just baseless threats they would have already moved to sue over damages that have already been caused, of course I'm no lawyer, but… I doubt this person is either

  13. I can’t wait to see who will be the 1st person to take legal action to these cosplay journalists for actual defamation and slander with a real lawyer. It’s just a matter when at this point.
