1. Surely it's part of the responsibilities of running a city that you keep the citizens safe. Citizens, in this case, should include businesses. NY seems to have abrogated their responsibilities in this so, Eff 'em, I say.

13. This has nothing to do with red or blue. Arresting the homeless won't help. The numbers of homeless are growing everywhere, as is pretty crime. The root cause of this crime and homelessness is the ever growing divide between the rich and everyone else. This is happening because it is always the rich making the rules and enforcing the rules, regardless of if it's red or blue. Unsurprisingly this is mostly going to result in rules that benefit the rich at the expense of everyone else. If this is not fixed you will have a revolution or civil war sooner or later.
