Top News | Chief Justice of India D Y Chandrachud hailed the government’s new criminal legislation on Monday, describing them as a “significant step” towards modernising the legal system and aimed at replacing the rules from the British era. At the 20th DP Kohli Memorial Lecture, held in honour of the CBI’s founding director, Chandrachud gave the keynote address. He said that Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA) offer a comprehensive approach that guarantees a smooth information flow. Better coordination and collaboration amongst the parties engaged in the investigative and adjudicatory procedures is what they are meant to enable. Judiciary is a separate class in our proclaimed classless society. Also any one could become a chief justice in democracy but at the same time every body could not become chief justice.Man is a physical being like other beings governed by invariable laws established by God.

Due to his intelligence he transgress

The laws established by God with his passions. He might even forget his creator.God has reminded him of his duty by the laws of religion. If he still forgets that , philosophy has provided by the laws of morality, Formed to live in society he might forget his fellow creatures.Legislators have therefore by political and civil laws confined him to his duty.
