  1. This "Dr." needs to retire. I don't think she did the defense any favors with this testimony. Nor do I think MT hired good atty's. Did she find them in the bargain basement, cuz they really suck. She should demand a refund.

  2. Professor Loftus is an expert witness who doesn't understand the difference between objective expert testimony and being an advocate. Being an advocate and an expert is grounds for impeachment of her "opinions". As a purported memory expert seems to be a lot she can't remember.

  3. Prosecutor looked lame grilling this woman in such minute detail about the hours she spent, her fees, and exactly what she discussed with the attorneys over a 4 year period. I understand that there is a "hired gun" aspect to an expert witness testifying for one side or another, but I would think that, "So you're being compensated at the rate of $600 an hour for your services?" would be sufficient. That's why the judge had such annoyance in his voice when he sustained a defense objection to the prosecutors out-of-line questioning. The wise and learned judge also called the prosecutor out for showing a "lack of respect" for the witness. I think the prosecutor was way over the top and likely lost some favor with at least some of the jurors. It got to the point where the judge said "We're going to take a recess, because things are becoming unhinged. RESET!"

Furthermore, I don't think that the prosecutor going on and on name-dropping the infamous defendants whose defense counsel retained her as an expert was within the scope of the defense's direct examination of the witness, and it was prejudicial to the defense to allow the prosecutor to pursue that line of questioning. The professor strikes me as a brilliant woman of integrity, who is not going to be compromising her intellectual honesty and ethical principles by fudging anything on behalf of the people that hired her.

But what baffles me is that the defense counsel only questioned her in generalities concerning the effects of stress, exhaustion, passage of time, etc. on someone's memory, but didn't get into the actual interrogations themselves where the investigators intimidated her, made provocative statements designed to get her upset and angry, accused her, even bullied her. Also the fact that there were 3 different exceedingly long interrogations.

  4. He went for her jugular 👏🏾
He shed light on her reputation. Wonder if she ll be called again in future cases.

  5. This professor seems to have selective recall. She can remember all the dates of the cases where she was consulted by the defense teams but then claims that she cannot recall what she has written, the title of her only book that she had written in 1991. How ironic that her years of work have to do with memory? She has a horrible attitude, is very conceited, and is rude.

  6. This woman is so full of hogwash! 🤮 No professional scientist is going to sit up on the stand and deliver study results without technical narratives or names of case studies. I’m sorry but she couldn’t remember the full titles of her supposed books she’s written. I’m surprised as sharp as this judge is that he’s allowing this nonsense direct from the defense attorney and their self serving questions and answers! 😱 OMG!

  7. i am thinking they will convict this crazy home wrecker. but the sentence will be a Disaster, i did the reading on home wrecker's family. Some prominent annoying family,, aka $$$ AND: I am Not calling out the judge, at all. he is being thorough and seems very sharp. but im sure this prominent family has spoken to everyone they can. so, if found guilty what is the most she could serve???

  8. i think and hope this girlfriend is convicted. she changed her story,,, correct? 'she was with him that morning/she wasn't with him that morning., i read yesterday she is from a 'prominent' family,,,, whidh is always red flag for,,, the famly will try to gain some influence.

  9. Memory expert reviewed MT interrogations and decided Michelle forgot. Really? The police determined that after the first interview. Michelle forgot to tell the truth.

  10. I love the hissy fit by defense against the "expert" who advocated for Bundy, Menezdez brothers, Spector, OJ Simpson, Michael Jackson, Jerry Sandusky, Cosby, Weinstein, Durst, the popular scumbags of the recent times. She can't seem to recall any victims unfortunately. He was sputtering out objections without knowing grounds.

  11. People with degrees can be horrific basta****s and bad humans! Everyone deserves respect not just her because of extensive publications… She will probably defend Hitler 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

  12. ❤ This "expert" on memory can't recall 😂 I absolutely LOVE the Prosecutors!!! Michelle estàs super fried mija 😂 Representative of Ted Bundy and so many scum of the earth just for $$$$ Devil doctor🧟‍♀️🧛‍♀️

  13. So we're meant to believe that MT only forgot the most incriminating events of her day/s surrounding JFD's disappearance but had crystal clear recollections of inconsequential details, down to the making of an orange juice?

  14. The defense is working as the devils advocate, as well as this so called expert witness! 👿👿👿 Ted Bundy… really!🤡

  15. It's very telling that when given extra info, that she continuously states that that info doesn't change her opinion or what she's stated earlier.

  16. Perhaps you are one of the fans of OJ Simpson the wife k. I. L. L. E. R 🤔he is rotting in prison 😅

  17. I can fully understand why the a prosecution got a bit frustrated with this woman. If people knew the full extent of what she's done, in regards to her "job," they would be just as frustrated, if not more! This woman has actually done some pretty heinous things, (i.m.o.), especially regarding survivors of SA!
    😤😤😤😤😤

  18. Holy shhhh… The prosecution executed that cross-examination BEAUTIFULLY!! The judge may be unhappy with his line of questioning, but that's precisely what was called for! Bravo! For one testifying on memory, hers is terrible, to say the least. This woman has built a career testifying on behalf/in defense of some of the worst humans in history! Ted Bundy? Disgusting!

  19. 😅😅😅😅 expert on memory and she forget the question hahaha I love this so called memory expert!!

  20. The so-called memory expert was a waste of time. Didn’t help defense at all. She testifies for guilty criminals! The judge was unhinged not the prosecutor.

  21. Grandma Moses: I am compensated for my time. Just as you are. Prosecutor: You THINK I make $700.00 per hour? Judge: We're going to take a recess. Things are becoming 'unhinged.' 1:58:33 NICE

  22. can someone help me out here – legal terms ? How can they argue that she helped fotis murder someone, when Fotis hasnt been found guilty himself yet ? Is this a joke trial ? To convict Troconis on conspiracy to murder with Fotis – they first have to prove Fotis murdered her, but they cant because hes dead and his trial didnt happen ….. so i'm like wtf?? You can convict her – but you dont know if Fotis actually murdered Jennifer? So if you dont actually prove in court that fotis has murdered Jennifer – then how can you convict troconis based of that narrative ? (FYI – I do think Fotis killed Jennifer and Troconis may have known – but LEGALLY this is FUCKED, I dont know how you can get around to 'no reasonable doubt'
    )

  23. How can they argue that she helped fotis murder someone, when Fotis hasnt been found guilty himself!!!! AAAAAAAAA I truly believe that Fotis has inadvertently involved Michelle Troconis in this situation without her full awareness. It seems he directed her to perform tasks like cleaning and to be at specific locations without her understanding his underlying intentions. It appears she was merely accompanying him, perhaps distracted on her phone, not grasping the significance of their actions or the items being disposed of. However, I fear she may be deemed guilty because her actions, particularly lying, have inadvertently strengthened the prosecution's case. It seems she followed Fotis' instructions, including fabricating a timeline, which now she acknowledges things were left out and not correct. This admission suggests she initially lied to protect Fotis, motivated by love and a desire to prevent his downfall, not fully realizing the gravity of her actions or the true nature of his plans. Despite her involvement, I don't believe she was aware of any plans for a serious crime like murder. Yet, her participation in altering the timeline and lying about their whereabouts after realizing Fotis might be facing serious allegations suggests a complex situation. The question remains if her actions constitute conspiracy to commit murder, considering her lack of knowledge about the full extent of Fotis' intentions (she says) Personally, I think the only criminal activity she has commited herself, was falsifying timelines, and lying to police about fotis whereabouts that morning. If she hadnt of lied, then I think she could win this case, as you cannot prove that she knew about any murder or any of fotis plans. In fact, they still cannot prove that she knew about Fotis plans….. but what they can do is charge her for obstructing justice or providing false information to law enforcement – due to her lies. Personally, even if I were to consider her guilty of conspiracy to murder, which I don't believe she is—given I doubt she was aware of Fotis's intentions when disposing of items—I still think the evidence falls short of proving her knowledge of the murder beyond a reasonable doubt. It's important to note they're attempting to charge her with conspiracy to murder based on evidence linked to Fotis. However, Fotis hadn't been convicted at that point, raising the question: how can she be deemed an accessory to someone who hasn't been tried yet? Now, with Fotis deceased, the prerequisite becomes proving Fotis's guilt in Jennifer's murder before associating her as an accessory. Well they cant try that, because hes now deceased! Its really really COMPLEX.

  24. Also thought the Witness was pretty quick with the comebacks, especially the one about finally meeting a Prosecutor who was happy to see her today. 😂

  25. Wow! Assistant State's Attorney McGuiness kicking ass and taking names on this one. 😂 He was not playing around with this witness… Maybe he crossed a line or danced on it, but it was entertaining to watch and I'm sure very effective for the Jury to see.

  26. Is this now a trial on MT s memory . Oh purleeeaseeeee is that all they got? Lock her up and that old boot who clearly tried to get people like Ted bundy off. Disgusting

  27. She’s just not good at testifying. All she has to do is answer yes or no if possible, keep her answers short and be respectful- instead she’s defensive and trying to outwit the prosecutor. Leave that to the defence attorney on re-direct.

  28. There are important areas to study that the psychologist talks about.

IMHO none of them apply to this case though.
