Dan Markel was murdered in July of 2014. It took investigators almost two years to follow the evidence and to identify the suspects. By 2016, there were two suspects who carried out the hit – Luis Rivera and shooter Sigfredo Garcia. Luis was in federal prison on unrelated charges. Investigators determined that the murder was connected to Dan Markel’s divorce, and suspected that one or more people in his ex-wife’s family ordered the hit. Katherine Magbanua was convicted in 2022. Charles Adelson was convicted in 2023.

People always talk about the Markel boys, the majority seems to forget about the Magbanua children. Traumatized, stigmatizes forever. While they are much better of without their bio parents, if they stay in KM's or SG's family there is a likelihood that they will be surrounded by immoral people who would do anything for money. Heartbroken for her children as well as the Markel boys.

Prior to the arrival of his attorney, and after Magbanua stated several times he would not answer questions, the THREE cops asked numerous questions which could have related to his case, some seeming to imply he might have some complicity. I have a 6 month old Rottweiler, she knows " sit and stay " mean sit and stay.

It appears the detective wants the brother to convince Katie to give up the Adelsons and take the get out of jail free card.
So the police want info from the brother but the attorney is Katie’s lawyer who would never give up info on Katie.
Given what Donna and Harvey had to pay to keep KM quiet ..sending Chris deCoste to sort this out for Katie's brother ie represent him is a minor drain on the Adelson's funds. Why out of all the Damn Lawyers in FL would Francis take a stab in the phone book and retain the one and only Chris deCoste ?? it stinks.
