Conor McBride and Ann Gromaire, once high school sweethearts turned engaged, found their relationship in the mud as they constantly were fighting each other. It took a tragic turn when Conor, only 19-years-old, shot Ann in the head during one of their incredibly toxic arguments. After driving around for some time, Conor went to the Tallahassee Police Department and turned himself in. This case took the internet by storm when Ann’s parents embraced restorative justice and essentially forgiving him. We now will look at Conor’s interrogation and what happened when he shot Ann.

  1. Notice he didn't act relieved when the detective said last she heard his gf was alive.
Instead body language was closed off, arms crossed & he went dead quiet until she asked him another question. He was thinking about what she would say happened if she lived.
After the det. left the room and came back his little baby act faded & as he got real nervous.
He told how she begged for her life while he was in a rage without telling she begged for her life while he was in a rage.

  2. Looks (can be deceiving) however he looks seriously psychotic, I mean far-out… And his awareness of putting his foot in his mouth, is compounded-proof of his version of the truth being b.s!

    6yrs, is a staycation… I wouldn't be surprised if he turned out to be a repeat-offender🤔

  3. 20 years is dumb,he will be free as a bird when he is 39?!

that means he can live a whole entire life after serving his time. It doesn’t mattrr if the parents forgive him, or if he regrets it

  4. This is a very sad case. Arguments all the time makes people crazy. A Toxic relationship on both sides. Tempers rise and both loose control. I believe that this young man is shocked that he had shot her. He will survive. God Bless everyone involved.

  5. She was like “ohh I’m gonna k**l myself” So then I was like “No, please don’t “ so then she goes “oh oookaaay”.

  6. Her parents probably knew she was a fucking nutcase and caused her own death. At least, based on the title alone, with a bit of personal experience.

  7. Body language……I'm 30 minutes into his interrogation….he does not make sustained eye contact with the Detective at all…is leaned forward, keeps his head lowered the entire time he is talking…and is hyper-actively engaging with his fingers. Behaviors that can have all sorts of "meaning"….not trying to diagnose anything here…just an observation. Most prominently he is not comfortable making and sustaining direct eye contact…something seen in persons on the autism spectrum. Significant when he says, "my sister has Down's Syndrome."

  8. He has "Arachnodactyly"…..look at his fingers. This is a genetic abnormality where the fingers and toes are abnormally long. It's called, "spider fingers" in medical descriptions of the abnormality.

  9. The brain isn’t fully developed until well into adulthood. That leads to poor impulse control and bad judgment. This kid is Exhibit A

  10. Sometimes, forgiveness isn’t about Them, it’s for yourself. I know that’s such a cliche, true though

  11. I heard this story on another channel. This was a hopelessly toxic relationship. It sounds like he was violent and abusive and she was manipulative and had unrealistic expectations of how relationships actually worked. From what I understand , she only "tried to leave" the last time but then came back of her own volition. That's part of the manipulation part. Same with the whole "you're tired at different times than me and want to sleep so that means you don't leave me" crap. Don't get me wrong- that's no excuse for physical or emotional abuse, nor murder. Dude seriously needs to be locked up. But as far as the relationship itself, both participated in making each other angry and miserable. I'm guessing their constant urge to stay together was at least in part due to the "first love" thing- when you're a teenager, you're convinced you're totally in real love like no one else has ever had before (especially your stupid parents who keep trying to tell you that things aren't actually working out and that your relationship isn't good but extremely unhealthy) and will hold on with a death grip, regardless of whether or not you're actually enjoying the relationship. I wish they would have just parted ways before it was too late.
