  1. I am a recovering alcoholic of nearly 40 years. I think the Blackout defense is very doable. When I was drinking there were many times that I did things that I completely and totally do not remember. You can function, even drive and completely have no memory of it. As hard as it is to understand, You really have no control over your actions.

  2. What criteria was used to not give her bail or bail with a monitor? This was an isolated incident not something she will do again and seems to be of meager means, so it's not a flight risk, and I don't remember her having a previous criminal history? Seems like in the case of someone like the man we just watched who attacked the judge and had a serious criminal background, was allowed to stay out on bail but someone like this who is not a danger to society is kept in prison. Having a hard time understanding the law, please clarify.

  3. Replay crew and may yet find this out, but in the UK a psychologist cannot diagnose any mental health condition, so why not a psychiatrist?

  4. It's almost funny. I watched this hearing a while ago and she constantly contradicts herself. Saying"she doesn't drink to the point not in control", and "I was not drunk". Then in another part of this hearing, later on, she "blames the wine"..The irony, she thinks she's so smart, while she just is paving it for the prosecutor. Her biggest concern during the hearing seems to be not coming off as an alcoholic, while her boyfriend just was found dead in a suitcase…

  5. I honestly don't think that there is anything that the defense can do to help her avoid going to prison! How long I think is gonna be the question!

  6. It looks like Sarah Boones case is no longer held by Judge Wooton as he has taken on a new role in the dependency courts for juveniles and another Judge is showing under her docket.

  7. She's still kinda drunk in this interview from the night before and so anything she says will be alcohol induced.

  8. I think prosecutor could offer manslaughter in this case. 7-10 years. I don’t think she intended to kill him.

  9. It sounds like the same old song and dance. How many times is one allowed to change lawyers at the cost of the state? She could keep this circus going for years.

  10. Those comments are classic for an alcoholic. Her physical presentation looks like an alcoholic. Put exhusband on stand. I think he even commented on tha

  11. I've thought she was guilty since I first saw the interrogation footage and recordings, so I'm glad im not in the jury pool. There are so many indicators or guilt, and I absolutely expect the alcoholic blackout defense to fail. I also expect the battered woman defense to fail – simply put, she gives me huge AH vibes. I expect her to fall apart on the stand and the jury will not be fooled. BUT I am waiting to see what other evidence there is and the defence's case. I'm admittedly going in with a bias, but will try to keep an open mind.

  12. I have been wondering about SBoon. Thanks for the update…….and for getting the C Adelson attorney to come chat about appeal cases in general…

  13. I’m still confused about battered spouse defense when the video from her phone with him in the suitcase no indication of fear on her part? Did I miss something? Appreciate it.

  14. “I don’t, I can’t get drunk…” that’s not the flex she thinks because, for some alcoholics, it can take a whole lot of alcohol before they are drunk🤔
This lady better not take the stand!

  15. Wouldn't another problem Sarah would have with the "Alcoholic Blackout" defense is that Sarah had an answer for everything she did in between the recordings (ie: when she stated she flipped the suit case), yet did not remember making the videos? Also, another thing I think that is sus about the videos is that she was not shocked with her actions when watching what she did. It came off as weird to me. I have had blackouts from a disorder that I unfortunately have, when I am off my meds, but that is the thing, I am literally awestruck when I come out and see what I did. I feel there should have been an actual emotional reaction from her at that time.
