  1. Regardless of court procedure, whether the defendant was sitting where he should have been, there is only one person to blame. The defendant. To me, it’s ridiculous that someone being charged with offences, especially those that involve violence, should be allowed to just freely sit in a courtroom with everyone else. For the safety of everyone in the courtroom, they should be in a dock, handcuffed and shackled to the ground. However, all the SJW crowd will jump up and down and say how ‘unfair’ that is (with no thought to the unfairness shown towards the victim/s). Until of course, something happens to them or their loved ones.

  2. As far as people blaming the judge, I don't think they're necessarily blaming her, just that her choice of words and the way she said them knowing the type of person he is may have inflamed the situation a little. That's still no excuse for his reaction and I've definitely gotten worse myself from judges and I don't even have any violent crimes on my record. I just went on the run for 3 years. When the judge asked why I ran for so long I said well when I initially took off my grandma had just past away, I knew i was about to get sentenced and I just couldn't deal with it at the time. Which was the truth actually. My grandma was my everything. Anyway the judge got cocky with me and said it took 3 years to grieve your grandmother. At that point I just shut up because had I said anything it wouldn't have been nice and his response depending on what he said may have very well triggered a reaction like this. But it would've had nothing to do with going to jail cause I already accepted that fate. Again that would've been my fault. All I'm saying is what they say and how they say things can inflame situations more than they need to be.

  3. The judge took one 'for the team'. So many women that would have been in his path will now be safe with his longer sentence.

  4. What would happen if the members of the public in the gallery helped the clerk, judge and cop?. Sad they didn’t step up to the plate to help them.

  5. This got me choked up.. the nerve of this guy.. it truly brought tears to my eyes. Yes.. I hope they learn from this to have more safety messages up. Maybe even a plexiglass wall for protection of judges?

  6. This is what victims of domestic violence see… His ability to be calm and reasonable and then the ability to SNAP. Terrifying.

  7. Your honor if you'd please excuse my client. I believe he was a bit upset due to the circumstances that occurred today. Sometimes he can be a bit over-passionate, but he truly means well.

  8. And after this, they STILL released him on bail (knowing he was going to het time)… and SHOCKER… HE DIDN’T SHOW UP!!! IN. SANE.

  9. Question I would like to ask obviously he is going to face more charges. But can the judge who did not finish reading the sentence add time to his original sentence of Battery to protect the community?

  10. This might be addressed later in the video, but it isn’t lost on me for a second that he went for the “female” judge as opposed to the male prosecutor. This man has some serious hatred of women. We need to take DV seriously. Can you imagine the females he’s attacked previously? I agree that there are women who physically abuse men. But men who physically abuse women are the most evil to me. That’s a darkness I can’t even wrap my head around. The weak mentality to attack someone that has no chance of a fair fight, there are no words that justify their evilness of character.

  11. See my thoughts when I saw the clip, “he had to be planning this attack” it was just timed in a way that I don’t think it was a spur of the moment. He was determined to get that judge.

  12. It’s her tone, how she said it to him. Totally riled him up. She knows he’s violent. It didn’t take much to disrespect him. Flew his top.

  13. This is why I would be so afraid to work in the criminal justice system, surrounded by armed police & dangerous people all the time.

  14. He had a lot of balls. Well he just added more time on his former sentences. I’m glad the judge is okay.

  15. By no means do I think the judge was at fault for what happened…but I do believe she triggered the defendant with her comment. "A taste of something else" and the way she said it….. I found her very unprofessional in attitude and decorum with that comment..

  16. His attorney advised his client to throw himself to the mercy of the court , but he completely misunderstood.

  17. I think it’s very easy to make quick judgments about who did what wrong vs right. This happened so fast. Honestly, the court staff involved did their best based on the entire situation. Hindsight is always 20/20. There will be meaningful changes to the court system as a result of all of this. I hope everyone involved is okay. My heart goes out to the foster mom too. It’s very clear that she cares a great deal for the person involved. We can all learn a lot from this situation.

  18. This is why she felt not to give him a second chance, he has not change one bit. He just proved why he belongs in prison.

  19. If you watch him(defendant) he looked around and positioned himself to clear that table. He moved over from behind the monitor. Thats nuts. Nobody could have anticipated that. Especially after his statement.

  20. Everyone should be handcuffed if they’re in court. If you’re in court, u could be dangerous and if u aren’t, a sentence might make u that way and either way, court needs to be safe I don’t care what u think your rights are
