1. Leniency is the fact that, at most, she will spend only a year and a half in jail for accidentally killing someone. Getting the max is lenient.

   Live ammunition shouldn’t have been anywhere near the set.

2. I'm sure her Hollywood lawyer told her to not take liability which translates to," it's not my fault. Alex yelled at cause I am young and scared. " IF THAT is true…. Hannah's dad IS a legend on movie sets. He should have helped her out during trial. Probably looking out for his career. From MDC, I have NEVER heard jail is better. Clients with a choice tend to pick prison.

3. Guns don't kill people. Liberals who should have taken NRA gun safety courses kill people.

4. Her first big mistake was to take on the job. Egos get the better of almost everyone within the film industry.

5. I think the Judge was thinking about a lesser Sentence until she was faced with the Jail House Calls. Those were disrepectful to the whole System and to the Victim.

6. Funny everyone else got 6minths of shit i mean ..nothing..production…etc. it was all not just one person. Ya she did wrong but she was basically a virgin in gin movie world and had no requirements put forth on her and so on..production was like ya cheap ypu get the job

9. A wee boy lost his mum, forever. He will start school without her. He will feel bad and desperately need a hug from his mum that will never happen. He will have every happy time in his life shadowed by the fact that his mum isn’t there to share in that joy. And this Gutierrez woman has the freaking nerve to whine about her career and how everybody’s so mean to her. How disgustingly obnoxious.

10. I disagree with the violent offender designation. That's payback for calling the judge a b*tch on her jail calls. Especially with all of the violent criminals who walk free nowadays.

11. The problem with the "serious violent offender" designation is that it's a misnomer. Because it is right and good that she will be prohibited from owing guns in the future and that an enhancer on the minimum sentence will apply and so on – but it is also understandable that the NAME of this legal tag irks people as it was a failure to act that constituted the negligence, not a willfull act or even malice. I would also be very angry about being called a "violent offender" if I killed a patient by mistaking one drug for the other by mistake – but I would absolutely agree that a mistake like that should end my career and have me serve time. So yeah… that's my thoughts on that.

16. I think she may have given her the 12 months in county if not for the prison calls… I suspect she made her sentencing decision when reading the prosecution's written submission on sentencing.

17. There are judges in our country that are out of control. Like you said peter, she litterally threw the book at her just like the crumblys. Her 12mo with probation would have been good. That propmaster got off and hannah took the fall

18. I think the judge thought the 12 months in county would be a pass because in her jail calls she talked about how much she was enjoying her time there.

19. In one of the jail calls, the paralegal warns her they're being recorded. Why wasn't the call with the paralegal privileged?

20. she called the jury WAY worse than just "idiots". she shows absolutely no remorse whatsoever and continues to blame literally everyone else except herself. AND, she said things like, "I'll still be around firearms at my dads, he can just not give me the combo to the safe". WTF? She's kidding, right? Wrong!

24. Also… I do not think showing remorse negatively affects your appeal. The remorse is for the deceased and their family! Wake up and grow up!!
