2. It’s a sad thing that happened. I agree, but people are to raise their kids better. They had no business harassing him like they did. I think it’s ridiculous. This man is going to lose his life over a bunch of drunk teenagers with drugs and alcohol if I’d been on my back in the water and all those guys were coming at me, I would’ve swung anything I could get my hands on.

7. The kids behaved horribly. NM took it to a whole 'nother level. The verdict was correct. He got punched, pushed down and called names. It was basically a school yard fight. Miu brought a knife to a fist fight. Good job jury.

9. I've been on a jury multiple times. Once everyone begins believing a suspect is guilty it's hard to come back. Juries can have a mob mentality and also, this is true many people don't care and don't want to be there. In this tragedy I'm not going to give an opinion because I was not on the jury and believe it or not, being in the court room IN PERSON is the only way to contribute a valid opinion – trial by youtube is just entertainment. Being on a jury is hard . Glad this is over for everyone. I don't think justice was done for anyone tho, everyone has lost.

11. I thought the jury was not supposed to be identified unless they chose to give interviews later. The judge identified each juror before asking if that was their verdict.

19. He doesn’t appear remorseful, I do not believe he used appropriate force if it was self defense. His lying threw that right out the window. Terms acted horribly but I don’t think they at any time wanted to take his life. He never brandished the weapon in an effort to get them away. Teasing and taunting someone doesn’t deserve being stabbed in the heart and dying, or being gutted to where your insides were coming out. Reckless homicide fits, reckless act of violence with deadly weapon fits. Jury got it right.

26. My understanding of Wisconsin is alcohol is used in a large extent. My understanding of the verdict is that individuals in WI now have a precedent where if the group mobbing is young ie 17 to 25 one should submit to whatever they Direct you to do. Be it take orders to go away from your group downstream, withstand being pushed 3x, punched, slapped, held under water and attempted choking. If you do NOT submit and decide to use a weapon on you you will forfeit your life in prison. If young people experuencing mobbing or those who are not accepted by the mob hear this it will instill a great fear. I believe the verdict was a disservice. The people who were stabbed one fatally attacked the man. They are now mob rulers of the river. Great job WI jury 👏

27. Jury got it right! He rushed kids aggressively, he put his hand on the first. Escalated from there. They asked multiple time for him to go…he chose to stay pull a knife and started stabbing kids..

28. It’s supposed to be a jury of your peers. If he wanted in the hands of someone that decided by the law he should go with a bench trial. He doesn’t have to have a jury trial

29. I think the kid should be charged for under age drinking and smoking marijuana and also for calling him a pedophile and such because there is no evidence there he said he was looking for little children that came out of the teens mouth. I think they should be held accountable.

31. To those of you happy and ecstatic about this verdict … be careful what you wish for. One day YOU may think your life is in danger by many attacking
    YOU at once, while you’re alone. If you attempt to defend yourself and end up injuring or killing any of your multiple attackers you may end up in prison for life. 1 against 10 and the 1 ends up in prison for life. This is the future you have created for your children. Just hope you don’t get that call in the middle of the day or night one day. Oh… but you will!

39. This whole thing stinks. This just gave permission for every group of drunk teens to do whatever the hell they want to anyone they want, and there is zero anyone can do about it. I feel bad for Mr Miu. I believe these spoiled teens got what they deserved and they should have been charged with reckless homicide also, considering the fact they were committing a crime while illegally intoxicated and their friend was killed. Any other situation and those teens would have heen charged also.
