2. I agree with you Peter. IMHO, a new trial MUST be granted in order to uphold the rule of law. I think Murdaugh is guilty, guilty, guilty but that's not the issue here.

   Thought you might want to know so you can fix it for the next crazy person to watch the whole trial and then your reactions, back and forth… it's a hard juggling act already. LOL

4. ? If Murdaugh gets a new trial, is it true the previous trial is just like it never happened and you can’t use anything from the old trial in the new trial.

5. They could have 1,000 New trials, but the timing of their deaths and the video captured by Paul , Confirming Pauls last minutes,and placing the three of them there….will still be evidence so beyond a reasonable doubt…that he could be found guity 1,000 MORE TIMES. Truth.

7. Can’t have defense attorneys interrogating jurors. I will never be a juror if this is going to happen. The judge needs to ask the questions. The sled summaries missing commentary such as contact with a juror at Walmart is concerning.

8. If new trial, How can they keep financial crimes out? Is it because the door was opened by showing the birthday video on the first trial and so the door would have to be opened again? Can the state simply present what was already offered under oath in first trial?

12. I recently came across the podcast Cup of Justice. The podcast is hosted by 2 Journalist Liz Ferrell & Mandy Mantley and also attorney Eric Bland. Blands firm is retained by 4 jurors.
    After listening to the one of the Cup of Justice podcast I feel like I’ve learned a whole other side of this saga!

13. Yes, please. Troconis case- Mom of five missing, evidence of murder by exhusbandand ex husband unalived himself, and left 5 children as orphans. Live in girlfriend and exhusband worked together to cover Mom’s murder and dispose of body, bloody clothes in 30+ bags in dumpsters and trash cans around town in Connecticut. Court chose no opening statements and defense is challenging judge with objections to get blood evidence kicked out. Case will resume Tuesday at 10am if weather permits.

14. I would love for you to cover the Bridegan/Gardner/Fernedez trial in Duval county. VERY similar to Adelson/Markel case but active and very curious! Especially with (previous) ties to Gardners family’s company.

16. Defense brings this up, but a person who they chose to testify, Ms Mc?, should have mentioned what she was aware of during the trial. She and Becky both seem to be bad apples.

22. If the judge finds jury tampering in the hearing, a new AM trial is granted, so my understanding. If BH is charged consequently and possible found innocent of mal conduct in her trial, would that reinstate the first trial verdict of AM? And why is hearsay allowed in a hearing (Rhonda apparently about jury reactions during trial) with the grave potential outcome of a new trial, basically finding BH guilty? This hearing seems to be blown up as if it was a trial. I am so confused.

23. This has me even more worried about the Kohberger case, where the court clerk, Julie "Jewels" Fry, is the wife of the Chief of Police, James Fry.

24. I don’t know about anyone else – but I’m apprehensive about jury duty going forward. Why would I subject myself to all of this as a juror?

25. Her co-writer decided to donate his portion of the profits, because a whole chapter in the book was plagurized, from a reporter's story.

26. Wow….no criticism of the citizens of South Carolina but my question is : is this the way the entire SC judicial and law enforcement system work? It certainly seems to me that every case handled by court clerks would be questioned (certainly in this low country jurisdiction). They do not seem to have clear guidelines and are very lenient and not considered fair. Just my question and opinion.

28. I am sorry to say that this controversy with the jurors here ( and at the Maya trial) makes me much more anxious about serving on a jury. I really don’t want to at this point, although I am due to be called. It feels too potentially risky in its aftermath.

29. I have to admit- it’s difficult listening to you speak so highly of our court system and at the same time watch how horribly corrupt the Trump courts are. They are breaking so many client privileges and it keeps going on and on. I am beginning to believe all courts are corrupt.
