  2. Now I am listening to the Defense Opening- way too early to make assumptions about the actual case- but I think Defense Opening was well done too. Most trials I have watched don't have attorneys with calm, organized presentations.

  3. Every police officer questioned should be asked who, according to their firearm safety training, is at fault for her death. Every last one will have to admit it was Alec as that is what is taught and the standards they themselves are held to.

  4. "It's not a good idea to have a part-time armor, errors occur… but Hannah didn't make any mistake."
The defense doesn't seem to have a clear strategy…

  5. It doesn’t matter if Alec had training if the gun had dummy bullets. No real bullets = no death. Easy as that. I mean what if Alec was driving a car, a mechanic clears the car, says good breaks etc. breaks fail during a scene n kills someone. Was Alec Baldwin at fault? He didn’t check the car breaks? No. It wasn’t his job. It would be the mechanics.

  6. Does anybody get the feeling that she's sitting there with her nose in the air? I mean I feel like she just doesn't give a s***

  7. Heartbreaking! Hard to hear. How scared Helena must have been. Trying so hard to stay and see her son and hisband just one more time. Such a waste

  8. Curious that the defense is criticizing the professionalism of the police in a chaotic crime scene when they themselves are disorganized and ineffective with years to prepare. And the paralegal is the epitome of unprofessional. 🙄

  9. She looks a whole lot better with her hair looking normal and her makeup neat and attractive. I'm surprised how awful she was put together and working on the movie set looking like she was (I don't have the proper words but you can look for yourself and understand what I mean)

  10. "This is the worst day of my life"

    "I am so f***ed"

I am so glad she was more worried about herself rather than the woman fighting for her life. Daddy might have gotten you this job but daddy isnt going to get you out of this.

  11. Is there not actual munitions training for these situations? So that everyone can be assured that your armorer is trained appropriately? I think, perhaps, we should start there if not. (I don't know. I'm asking. We have concealed firearms courses and we have qualities or nonmetallic materials courses etc. We should probably have armory courses with testing as well. If we don't.

  12. I posted this on PT. 2 as well… because I think it’s important & the idea that he’s lying is a big deal..

The real issue here is Baldwin saying he didn’t pull the trigger.

If you know anything about guns… they DONT go off unless the hammer falls. PERIOD. Even if you drop it, modern (this WAS a modern revolver made to look old) pistols have firing pin plates/blocks which block the hammers pin unless cocked back ready to fire.. which prevents the hammer from striking the cap even if you drop the gun right on the hammer. So despite what you see in silly films… guns DO NOT go off when hit/thrown around/ or dropped. And this was a brand new COLT… which is extremely high end, so this gun wasn’t defective. Guns are always fired once and checked at the factory to make sure it’s working.

The point is: the only way this gun fired is by pulling the trigger. Period with guns.. especially high end like COLT… the whole, “I have no clue it just went off maybe it’s defective” — really don’t work.

Not saying he wanted to hurt her… I’m saying he was negligent, pulled the trigger, & he’s now saying he didn’t. Oh and it’s ALSO a single action… that means he had to cock the hammer BEFORE he could even pull the trigger

  13. Like so many Comments are saying … No, the Defendant does not look ANYTHING like she did on the Rust Set … that is obvious, but what is EQUALLY as obvious is, that without her even opening her mouth, who she is on the inside is THE SAME as who she was on the Rust Set … and without even hearing her utter one word, you can see the indifference, casualness, and callousness in all her facial expressions and lack thereof as well!

She may look presentable but she is still the exact same TRAIN WRECK she was when she was at work.

  14. I’m sorry but this opening statement by the prosecution is mind numbing. You shouldn’t put the jury to sleep right away. Wtf!

  15. She is very smug for someone who’s responsible for killing Someonez
. Notice how her hair and makeup has changed ..full of herself at the time and someone died because of it

  16. Why does her female lawyers outfit annoy me so much?.. It's so distracting and I hate that u am going to say inappropriate like my 92 year old grandma would but that's exactly how it feels. You are on courttv not real housewives of NM.

  17. Baldwin should be in this room taking this head on as much as she is. Cowardly but i guess thats what happens when you go after the little guy. Not just one party is at fault.

  18. This judge is a mess: starts off by telling jurors that “accidents happen,” twice gives the wrong expected end date of trial, and has to correct her statement “let the evidence begin.”

  19. Why is the defense strategy always to belittle other people. People who were doing their jobs to the best of their ability in the situation caused by the defendant. It is disgusting.

  20. I know about guns though not a lot of prop guns and ammo… and my only thought would be… aren’t blanks usually crimped at the head of the shell, where the bullet would be??? If so… then whoever loaded it had to have seen that.

It’s ridiculous how people think aged 24 is basically being a toddler. That just shows how society is these days.

However… this was most likely just a bad mistake that nobody knows the origin of.
